5. Maintenance
5.1 General Care and Cleaning
Keep the sight clean from dust and debris. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior. For lenses, use a lens cleaning pen or a soft brush to remove loose particles, then gently wipe with a lens cleaning cloth and solution if necessary. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lenses.

The Aimpoint Duty RDS is submersible to 80 feet (25 meters). Ensure all caps, especially the battery compartment cap, are securely tightened to maintain its waterproof capabilities. Regularly inspect O-rings for any signs of wear or damage.
6. Troubleshooting
If the red dot does not illuminate or appears dim:
- Check the battery: Ensure it is correctly installed with the positive (+) terminal facing outwards and is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Clean battery contacts: Gently clean the battery contacts inside the compartment and on the battery itself.
- Adjust brightness: Increase the brightness setting using the control buttons.
