Setup

1. Initial Solar Charge

Your TRITON watch is powered by light. For initial activation or after prolonged storage in darkness, expose the watch dial to a bright light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours. The watch will automatically begin charging and operating.

2. Time Adjustment

  1. To unlock the crown, rotate it counterclockwise until it pops out slightly to Position 1.
  2. From Position 1, gently pull the crown out one more notch to Position 2.
  3. Rotate the crown to set the desired time.
  4. Once the time is set, push the crown back in firmly to Position 0 and rotate it clockwise to screw it down. This ensures water resistance.

Operating the Watch

1. Reading Time

The watch displays time using three hands: hour, minute, and second. The luminous hands and markers provide visibility in low-light conditions.

2. Using the Unidirectional Rotating Bezel

The bezel rotates counter-clockwise and is used to measure elapsed time, particularly for dive durations.

  1. Before a dive, align the bezel's triangle marker (▼) with the minute hand.
  2. As time passes, the minute hand will move away from the triangle marker. The number on the bezel that the minute hand points to indicates the elapsed time in minutes.
  3. The unidirectional rotation prevents accidental increases in recorded time, which is crucial for safety during dives.

3. Water Resistance

The TRITON watch features 300M (1000FT) water resistance. This makes it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not for saturation diving. Ensure the crown is always screwed down tightly before any water exposure.

Maintenance

1. Solar Charging Best Practices

To maintain optimal battery charge, expose your watch to light regularly. Even indoor lighting can contribute to charging, though direct sunlight is most efficient. The watch is designed to conserve energy automatically when not exposed to light.

Battery life and time veracity information

Image: Information indicating a full charge provides 180 days of battery life and a time veracity of ±30 seconds per month.

2. Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. For silicone straps, mild soap and water can be used. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

3. Water Resistance Care

After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise water resistance.

Troubleshooting

Watch Not Running or Stopping

If the watch stops or runs intermittently, it may not have sufficient charge. Expose the watch to a strong light source for several hours to recharge the solar battery. If the issue persists after adequate charging, contact customer support.

Time Inaccuracy

If the time is inaccurate, refer to the "Time Adjustment" section to reset the time. Ensure the crown is fully screwed down after adjustment.
