5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Antenna

  1. Locate the FM Antenna interface (ANT) on the rear panel of the receiver.
  2. Carefully screw the provided FM antenna into the ANT port.
  3. Extend the antenna fully for optimal reception. Position the antenna near a window or in an open area for best signal quality.

5.2 Powering the Device

  1. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the DC 5V IN port on the receiver.
  2. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included) or a power bank.
  3. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the power button on the Type-C cable.

5.3 Audio Output Connection

  1. To connect to an external audio system (e.g., amplifier, preamp, powered speakers), use the provided 3.5mm to RCA cable or a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.
  2. Plug one end into the 3.5mm Audio Output (AUDIO OUT) port on the receiver.

Press the power button on the Type-C cable to turn the device on or off. The display screen will illuminate.

Long press the VHF button to cycle through the available FM frequency bands: 87-108MHz, 76-108MHz, and 64-108MHz. Select the band appropriate for your region.

6.3 Automatic Station Search (ATS)

  1. Long press the ATS button. The receiver will automatically scan for available FM stations and save them to memory presets.
  2. This process may take a few minutes depending on signal strength and the number of stations found.

6.4 Manual Tuning and Saving Presets

  1. Rotate the multifunctional knob to manually tune to a desired frequency.
  2. Once you find a station, short press the VHF button to save it as a preset.
  3. To recall saved stations, short press the multifunctional knob to enter manual selection mode, then rotate the knob to switch between your saved stations.
  4. Hold the knob again to exit manual tuning mode.
