1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the LAUDLIFE FUSION 2-in-1 Gas Griddle & Grill Combo is required. Please refer to the separate detailed assembly guide included with your product for step-by-step instructions. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

5. Setup

5.1 Appliance Placement

Place the appliance on a level, stable, non-combustible surface in an outdoor area with good ventilation. Ensure the required clearances from combustible materials are maintained (refer to Section 2: Safety Information).

5.2 Propane (LP) Tank Connection

1. Ensure the LP tank valve is open.
2. Connect the regulator hose to the LP tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not use tools.
3. Open the LP tank valve slowly, allowing gas to flow into the hose.

5.3 Leak Testing

Perform a leak test before first use and after every LP tank change. Mix a solution of equal parts water and liquid dish soap. With the LP tank valve open and appliance control knobs OFF, apply the solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, immediately close the LP tank valve and tighten connections. Repeat the test. If the leak persists, do not use the appliance and contact customer support.

5.4 Initial Burn-Off / Seasoning

Before cooking, perform an initial burn-off to remove manufacturing oils and residues. Light all main burners to their highest setting for 10-15 minutes. For the griddle surface, apply a thin layer of high-smoke-point cooking oil (e.g., flaxseed, grapeseed) and heat until it smokes, then let it cool. Repeat this process 3-4 times to create a non-stick seasoned surface.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Lighting the Main Burners (Grill/Griddle)

1. Ensure the LP tank valve is open.
2. Push and turn a main burner control knob to the HIGH position.
3. The integrated piezo ignition should ignite the burner. If not, turn the knob to OFF and wait 5 minutes before attempting again.
4. Once lit, adjust the flame intensity using the 360° control knob.

6.2 Lighting the Side Burner

1. Ensure the LP tank valve is open.
2. Push and turn the side burner control knob to the HIGH position.
3. The integrated piezo ignition should ignite the burner. If not, turn the knob to OFF and wait 5 minutes before attempting again.
4. Once lit, adjust the flame intensity using the control knob.

6.3 Using the Griddle and Grill Surfaces

The LAUDLIFE FUSION offers a dual-zone cooking experience. The griddle side is ideal for flat-top cooking such as eggs, pancakes, bacon, and stir-fries. The grill side provides open-flame cooking for searing meats, vegetables, and other grilled items. Utilize the individual control knobs to set different temperatures for each cooking zone.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

7.1 After Each Use

• Allow the appliance to cool completely.
• Griddle Surface: Scrape off food residue with a griddle scraper. Wipe clean with a paper towel. For stubborn residue, use warm soapy water and a non-abrasive pad, then re-season lightly with cooking oil.
• Grill Grates: Brush off food residue with a grill brush. For deeper cleaning, wash with warm soapy water.
• Grease Tray: Empty and clean the slide-out grease tray regularly to prevent grease fires.

7.2 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pads that can scratch the finish. Ensure all surfaces are dry before storing.

7.3 Storage

When not in use, store the appliance in a dry, protected area. Disconnect the LP tank and store it outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Consider using a weather-resistant cover to protect the appliance from the elements.
