Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance housing in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Important Note: According to safety standard IEC/EN 60335-2-9, the 'Start' button of the Smart Air Fryer must be pressed manually to begin cooking. The machine cannot start directly remotely.

Components:

• Control Panel: Digital display with touch controls for presets, temperature, and time.
• Air Inlet: Located on the top of the unit.
• Air Outlet: Located at the back of the unit.

Before First Use

1. Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials from the air fryer and its accessories.
2. Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Wash the basket and crisper plate with hot, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space around the back and sides, and 30 cm (12 inches) above the unit.
4. Test Run: It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for a short cycle (e.g., 5 minutes at 200°C / 400°F) to eliminate any manufacturing odors.

Setup

Power Connection:

Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. The air fryer will beep, and the display will illuminate briefly.

Wi-Fi Connection (VeSync App):

The COSORI Dual Blaze Air Fryer features Wi-Fi connectivity for smart control via the VeSync app.

1. Download the VeSync app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Create an account or log in.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your COSORI Dual Blaze Air Fryer. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the air fryer.
2. Select Function: Choose from the 11 preset functions or manually set temperature and time.
3. Adjust Settings: Use the temperature and time buttons to adjust as needed.
4. Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button to begin the cooking cycle. Remember, this must be pressed manually even if using the app.
5. Pause/Cancel: Press the power button to pause or cancel cooking.

Dual Blaze Technology:

This air fryer features revolutionary Dual Blaze technology with heating elements on both the top and bottom. This ensures more uniform heat distribution and faster cooking, eliminating the need for shaking or flipping food during cooking for most recipes.

Using the VeSync App:

The VeSync app provides additional control and features:

• Remote Control: Adjust cooking settings, start, or stop cycles from your smartphone.
• Recipe Access: Explore a library of over 90 recipes, including 30 paper recipes and 60 online recipes, with step-by-step instructions.
• Cooking Progress: Monitor cooking time and temperature in real-time.
• Notifications: Receive alerts when cooking is complete or when it's time to add ingredients.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Basket and Crisper Plate: The non-stick basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use hot, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid metal scouring pads or harsh detergents.
3. Interior: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn food residue, use a mild dish soap. Do not immerse the unit in water.
4. Exterior: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Air fryer does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Check if the outlet is functioning.
• Food is not cooked evenly: Ensure the crisper plate is correctly inserted. The Dual Blaze technology minimizes the need for shaking, but for very dense or large quantities of food, a quick shake or flip might still be beneficial.
• White smoke coming from the air fryer: This is usually caused by grease from previous cooking or excess oil on the crisper plate. Clean the basket and crisper plate thoroughly after each use.
• App connection issues: Ensure your air fryer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during setup. Restart both the air fryer and your router if issues persist.
