2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
3. Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluid to settle, ensuring proper operation.

5.2 Initial Cleaning

1. Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker with a mild detergent solution and warm water.
2. Rinse the interior parts thoroughly with clean water.
3. Drain the water by unplugging the drain cap located on the front bottom side.
4. Dry the interior completely with a soft cloth.

5.3 Adding Water

The ice maker offers two ways to add water:

• External Water Tank: Fill the 1.5L external removable water tank and place it securely on top of the unit.
• Built-in Reservoir: Open the top lid and pour water directly into the 0.5L built-in reservoir. Ensure water level does not exceed the MAX fill line.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On and Ice Production

1. Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice production cycle. The machine will begin making ice automatically.
3. The display panel will show the estimated time remaining for the current ice-making cycle.

6.2 Adjusting Ice Cube Thickness

Use the + and - buttons on the control panel to adjust the thickness of the ice cubes. Thicker cubes take longer to produce but melt slower.

6.3 Indicator Lights

• ICE FULL: A light will illuminate when the ice basket is full. The machine will pause production until ice is removed.
• ADD WATER: A light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low. Refill the water tank to resume ice production.

6.4 24-Hour Timer

To set the timer, press the Timer button and use the + and - buttons to set the desired ON/OFF time. This allows you to schedule ice production in advance.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

7.1 Auto-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features a built-in auto-cleaning mode:

1. Ensure the unit is empty of ice and water.
2. Add clean water to the reservoir.
3. Press and hold the "+" button for 5 seconds to activate the auto-cleaning cycle.
4. The cleaning process will take approximately 20 minutes.
5. Once complete, drain the water and dry the interior.

7.2 Regular Cleaning

• Regularly clean the exterior of the ice maker with a mild detergent solution and a soft cloth.
• Descaling: If you live in an area with hard water, descale your ice maker once a month or more frequently. Refer to the user manual for specific descaling instructions.
• When the machine is not to be used for a long time, drain the water completely and dry the interior.
