5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Slide the cover open.
  3. Insert three 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6.1 Basic Measurement

  1. Press the MEAS button to turn on the device and activate the laser.
  2. Aim the laser beam at the target point from which you want to measure the distance.
  3. Press the MEAS button again to take a measurement. The result will be displayed on the screen.

  • Area and Volume Measurement: Press the FUNC button to cycle through measurement modes until the area or volume icon appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to take the required length, width, and height measurements.
  • Indirect Pythagorean Theorem Measurement: Use this function to measure inaccessible distances. Press FUNC to select the Pythagorean mode and follow the instructions to measure the hypotenuse and one side.
  • Continuous Measurement (Tracking): This mode allows you to move the device and see real-time distance updates. The device will display maximum and minimum measurements during continuous tracking.
  • Storage Function: The device can store up to 99 measurement units. Use the FUNC button to access and manage stored data.
