3. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that all included components are present: metal base, 22LB metal barrel, premium DC adapter, spare belts, bearing nuts, bearing/screwdriver, extra small pulley screws, thumb nuts, user manual, and warranty card.
2. Placement: Place the metal base on a sturdy, level, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Barrel Inspection: Before first use, inspect the 22LB metal barrel for any debris or damage. Ensure the rubber lining is properly seated.
4. Power Connection: Connect the premium DC adapter to the power input port on the tumbler base, then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Loading the Barrel

1. Open Barrel: Unscrew the 6 industrial-grade metal twist knobs on the barrel lid and remove the lid.
2. Add Contents: Fill the barrel approximately two-thirds full with rocks. Add the appropriate abrasive grit for the current tumbling stage. Pour in enough water to just cover the rocks and grit.
3. Secure Barrel: Place the lid back onto the barrel, ensuring the rubber lining is properly seated for a leak-proof seal. Tighten all 6 metal twist knobs securely.

4.2 Starting the Tumbling Process

1. Position Barrel: Carefully place the loaded and sealed barrel onto the rollers of the tumbler base. Ensure it is centered and stable.
2. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the smart control panel to start the tumbler. The display will illuminate.
3. Set Timer (Optional): The tumbler features a 9-day timer. Adjust the desired tumbling duration using the control panel buttons. The unit operates at approximately 40-50 RPM.

4.3 Monitoring and Pause/Resume Function

• Real-Time Display: The 3-screen display provides real-time information on total tumbling days, extra hours, and live power usage (watts). This allows for precise tracking of your polishing cycle.
• Pause/Resume: To temporarily stop the tumbling process without losing your current timer settings, press the PAUSE/RESUME button. Press it again to continue from where you left off.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• After each tumbling cycle, thoroughly rinse the barrel and its contents to remove all grit and rock residue.
• Wipe down the exterior of the metal base and rollers with a damp cloth. Ensure no water enters the electronic components. Do not immerse the base in water.

5.2 Belt Replacement

• The drive belts are wear-and-tear components. Inspect them regularly for cracks, stretching, or signs of damage.
• To replace a belt, unplug the tumbler. Carefully roll the old belt off the motor pulley and the barrel roller. Install a new belt by stretching it over the motor pulley first, then rolling it onto the barrel roller.

5.3 Bearings and Shafts

• The tumbler is equipped with 304 stainless steel sealed bearings and aluminum alloy shafts for durability.
• Keep these components clean and free from grit or debris to ensure smooth operation.

• Tumbler Not Starting:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the tumbler and a working electrical outlet.
  • Press the ON/OFF button firmly.
• Unusual Noise or Vibration:
  • Verify the barrel is properly seated and centered on the rollers.
  • Check for any foreign objects on the rollers or under the barrel.
  • Inspect the drive belts for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
• Barrel Not Rotating:
  • Check the condition and tension of the drive belts. A loose or broken belt will prevent rotation.
  • Ensure the barrel is not overloaded. The maximum capacity is 22 lbs.
• Leaking Barrel:
  • Confirm that all 6 metal twist knobs on the barrel lid are securely tightened.
  • Inspect the rubber lining inside the lid for proper seating or damage.
• Excessive Belt Wear:
  • Consistent overloading of the barrel can accelerate belt wear. Adhere to the 22 lb maximum capacity.
