5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Installation Type

• Outdoor Doorbell: Designed for flush mounting.
• Indoor Monitor: Designed for surface mounting.

5.2 Wiring and Power

1. Connect the outdoor doorbell unit to the indoor monitor using the provided 4-wire cable. A 5-meter cable is included for flexible connectivity.
2. Ensure all wiring connections are secure and correctly aligned according to the wiring diagram (refer to the separate wiring diagram provided in the package).
3. Connect the indoor monitor to a standard AC 100-240V 50/60Hz power outlet. The system operates on DC 12V, 2A.
4. Once wired, power on the system.

5.3 Tuya App Setup (for WiFi functionality)

1. Download the Smart Tuya app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Register or log in to your Tuya account.
3. On the indoor monitor, navigate to the WiFi settings and connect it to your local 2.4GHz WiFi network.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to add your ANJIELO SMART intercom system to your Tuya account. This will enable remote monitoring, unlocking, and video review via your smartphone.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Functions

• Answering Calls: When a visitor presses the doorbell, the indoor monitor will ring. Touch the 'Answer' icon on the screen to establish two-way communication.
• Monitoring: Touch the 'Monitoring' icon on the indoor monitor to view the live feed from the outdoor doorbell camera at any time.
• Unlocking: During a call or monitoring, touch the 'Unlock' icon on the monitor screen to remotely open the connected door lock. Unlocking is also possible via ID card or the mobile app.
• Two-Way Communication: Speak directly with visitors through the built-in speaker and microphone on both the indoor monitor and outdoor doorbell.

6.2 Advanced Features

• Automatic Video Recording: The system automatically records video footage to the 32GB Micro SD card when motion is detected by the outdoor doorbell camera.
• Remote Access (via Tuya App):
  • Receive call notifications on your smartphone when the doorbell is pressed.
  • View live video feed from the outdoor camera.

  • Remotely unlock the door.
  • Review recorded motion detection videos.
• Monitor Settings: Access the 'Setting' menu on the indoor monitor to adjust ringtones (7-chord melody rings), volume, display color, and other system preferences.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the surfaces of the indoor monitor and outdoor doorbell. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays.
• Weather Protection: The outdoor doorbell has an IP65 rating, providing protection against dust and water. Ensure the rain cover is properly installed.
• Cable Connections: Periodically check all wired connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
• SD Card Management: Regularly review and manage recordings on the 32GB Micro SD card. Format the card periodically to maintain optimal performance.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Video/Audio:
  • Check all 4-wire connections between the outdoor doorbell and indoor monitor.
  • Ensure the indoor monitor is properly powered.
  • Verify that the outdoor doorbell camera lens is clean and unobstructed.
• App Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure the indoor monitor is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
  • Check your home router for internet connectivity.
  • Restart the indoor monitor and your smartphone.
  • Re-link the device in the Tuya app if necessary.
• Motion Detection Not Recording:
  • Verify that the 32GB Micro SD card is correctly inserted and not full.
  • Check motion detection settings on the indoor monitor or via the Tuya app.
  • Ensure the camera lens is clean.
• Poor Video Quality:
  • Clean the camera lens on the outdoor doorbell.
