Setup

1. Placement

Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in a location where the ambient temperature will not fall below 41°F (5°C) or rise above 95°F (35°C). Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.

2. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. For optimal performance, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before initial use if it has been transported horizontally.

3. Drainage Options

Your AIRPLUS dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

Two drainage options for AIRPLUS dehumidifier: continuous drainage with hose and removable water tank

A. Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

  • The dehumidifier will collect moisture in its internal water tank.
  • When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate.
  • Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  • Empty the collected water and slide the tank back into place until it clicks securely.

B. Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)

  • For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit.
  • Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain the water to a suitable floor drain or larger container.
  • Make sure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.
