4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your portable air conditioner:

4.1. Assemble the Exhaust Hose

  1. Stretch one end of the exhaust hose.
  2. Rotate the hose connector counterclockwise to fix it securely to one end of the hose.
  3. Stretch the other end of the hose.
  4. Rotate the hose outlet counterclockwise to fix it securely to the other end of the hose.

4.2. Assemble the Window Slider Panels

  1. Insert the butterfly screws into the holes in the window slider plates, but do not secure them tightly yet.
  2. Align the inner plate and insert it into the outer plate.
  3. Stretch the assembled panels to the desired length for your window before tightening the screws to fix them.

4.3. Install the Unit and Window Kit

  1. Fix the assembled exhaust hose to the exhaust vent at the back of the air conditioner unit.
  2. Apply the sealing foam tape to the window frame for better insulation.
  3. Place the assembled window panels on the window frame and adjust to fit your window opening. Secure the panels.
  4. Fix the hose outlet to the designated hole in the window panels.

5.3. Temperature and Timer Settings

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

6.1. Draining Water

The unit features an auto shut-off protection when the internal water tank is full. When the water full indicator light is on, all keys become invalid until the water is drained. Reboot the machine after draining.

  1. Unscrew the cover of the drain outlet located in the middle of the unit.
  2. Connect the attached drainage pipe to the outlet.
  3. Allow water to drain into a suitable container.
  4. For long-term storage or if the "HL" icon shows on the panel, drain water from the bottom drain hole as well.

6.2. Cleaning the Air Filter

Regularly clean the air filter to maintain air quality and unit efficiency.

  1. Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  2. Rinse the filter directly with water until clean.
  3. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
