1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Lxlu 16000 BTU Smart Room Portable Air Conditioner. This versatile unit offers multiple functions including cooling, dehumidifying, and fan-only operation, along with smart features like auto oscillation, a 24-hour timer, and remote control. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours after receiving your shipment before plugging it into the main outlet to ensure optimal performance of the compressor.
- Do not block air inlets or outlets.
- Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- If the unit displays an "HL" icon or has been unused for a long period, drain water from the bottom drain hole.

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up your portable air conditioner:
4.1. Assemble the Exhaust Hose
- Stretch one end of the exhaust hose.
- Rotate the hose connector counterclockwise to fix it securely to one end of the hose.
- Stretch the other end of the hose.
- Rotate the hose outlet counterclockwise to fix it securely to the other end of the hose.
4.2. Assemble the Window Slider Panels
- Insert the butterfly screws into the holes in the window slider plates, but do not secure them tightly yet.
- Align the inner plate and insert it into the outer plate.
- Stretch the assembled panels to the desired length for your window before tightening the screws to fix them.
4.3. Install the Unit and Window Kit
- Fix the assembled exhaust hose to the exhaust vent at the back of the air conditioner unit.
- Apply the sealing foam tape to the window frame for better insulation.
- Place the assembled window panels on the window frame and adjust to fit your window opening. Secure the panels.
- Fix the hose outlet to the designated hole in the window panels.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Lxlu portable air conditioner features a user-friendly control panel and a remote control for convenient operation.
5.1. Control Panel and Remote Control

5.2. Operating Modes
The unit offers multiple operating modes to suit your comfort needs:
- Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling to lower room temperature.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Reduces humidity levels in the room, ideal for damp environments.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling, offering a refreshing breeze.
- Automatic Operation: The unit intelligently determines the optimal operating mode (Cooling or Fan) based on the room temperature.

5.3. Temperature and Timer Settings
- Use the temperature adjustment buttons on the control panel or remote to set your desired temperature.
- Activate the 24-hour timer to program the unit to turn on or off automatically at specified times.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.
6.1. Draining Water
The unit features an auto shut-off protection when the internal water tank is full. When the water full indicator light is on, all keys become invalid until the water is drained. Reboot the machine after draining.
- Unscrew the cover of the drain outlet located in the middle of the unit.
- Connect the attached drainage pipe to the outlet.
- Allow water to drain into a suitable container.
- For long-term storage or if the "HL" icon shows on the panel, drain water from the bottom drain hole as well.

6.2. Cleaning the Air Filter
Regularly clean the air filter to maintain air quality and unit efficiency.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Rinse the filter directly with water until clean.
- Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air conditioner, please check the following common problems before contacting customer support:
- Unit does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Unit is not cooling effectively: Verify that the air filter is clean. Ensure all windows and doors are closed. Check if the exhaust hose is properly installed and not obstructed. Confirm the selected mode is 'Cooling' and the temperature setting is appropriate.
- Water full indicator is on: Drain the internal water tank as described in the Maintenance section.
- Unusual noise or odor: Turn off the unit and unplug it. Check for any obstructions in the air inlets or outlets. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
