1. Product Overview

The Mammotion LUBA mini AWD 800 is an advanced robotic lawn mower designed for efficient and autonomous lawn care. It features all-wheel-drive for superior off-road capability, UltraSense AI Vision for precise navigation, and RTK auto-mapping for accurate boundary recognition.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present. Place the LUBA mini on a flat, stable surface before proceeding with setup.

2.2 Charging Station Installation

Select a suitable location for the charging station. It should be on a level surface with access to a power outlet and clear of obstructions to allow the mower to dock easily. The charging station is where the LUBA mini will return to recharge automatically.

2.3 RTK Base Station Setup

The RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) base station is crucial for precise navigation. Install the RTK base station in an elevated position with an unobstructed view of the sky to ensure optimal satellite signal reception. Connect the RTK base station to a power source.

2.4 App Installation and Initial Mapping

Download the Mammotion app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your LUBA mini. The app will guide you through the initial mapping process, allowing the mower to learn your lawn's layout and define mowing zones and no-go areas.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Starting a Mowing Task

Use the Mammotion app to select the desired mowing zone(s) and initiate a mowing task. You can choose from various mowing patterns such as Parallel, Checkboard, or Diamond Grid, and even utilize 3D lawn printing technology for customized designs.

3.2 Adjusting Cutting Height and Speed

The cutting height can be adjusted via the app from 0.8 inches (2.03 cm) to 2.6 inches (6.6 cm). Task speed can also be customized to suit your lawn conditions and desired mowing efficiency.

3.3 Multi-Zone Management and No-Go Zones

The LUBA mini supports management of up to 20 mowing areas. Easily define and manage separate zones for front and back yards, as well as no-go zones around obstacles like pools or flower beds, all through the app.

3.4 Obstacle Avoidance and Edge Cutting

UltraSense AI Vision enables the mower to detect and avoid over 200 types of obstacles. It also features zero-distance edge cutting, allowing it to mow close to boundaries without satellite signals, ensuring a neat finish.

3.5 All-Wheel-Drive Capability

The LUBA mini AWD 800 is equipped with all-wheel-drive and an adaptive suspension system, allowing it to traverse steep slopes (up to 80%), potholes, rough terrain, and thick grass without getting stuck.

3.6 Auto-Recharge and Night Mowing

When the battery level is low, the LUBA mini will autonomously return to its charging station. After recharging, it seamlessly resumes mowing where it left off. The mower can also be scheduled to operate at night.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Blade Replacement

The LUBA mini uses small, razor-like blades for efficient cutting. These blades will need to be replaced periodically, typically every few months, depending on usage and lawn conditions. Replacement blades are available from Mammotion.

4.2 General Cleaning

Regularly clean the mower, especially the underside and cutting decks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Remove any accumulated grass clippings, dirt, or debris.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Obstacle Detection Issues

If the mower frequently encounters obstacles or fails to avoid them, ensure the UltraSense AI Vision sensors are clean and unobstructed. Adjust obstacle detection sensitivity settings in the app if necessary.

5.2 GPS/RTK Signal Loss

Ensure the RTK base station has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. If signal issues persist, check the base station's connection and placement. The UltraSense AI Vision can help the mower continue operation in areas with limited satellite signals.

5.3 Anti-Theft Features

The LUBA mini includes GPS tracking and anti-theft protection. If the mower exceeds designated mowing zones, you will receive an app notification. The 'lost' feature can be activated to prevent unauthorized use.
