Operating Instructions
Starting the Snow Blower
- Ensure both batteries are fully charged and correctly installed.
- Press and hold the safety button on the handle.
- While holding the safety button, pull the bail switch towards the handle to start the motor.
- Release the safety button once the motor is running.
Adjusting Chute Direction
Use the 180° remote chute rotation adjustment lever located on the control console to direct the snow discharge. Rotate the lever to change the direction of the snow throw.
Using Auger-Assist Drive
The snow blower features an auger-assist drive system. To engage, simply push the snow blower forward. The auger's rotation will help propel the unit. Adjust your walking speed to match the snow conditions and the unit's propulsion.
Eco Mode
For lighter snow conditions or to extend battery runtime, activate the Eco Mode via the control panel. This reduces power consumption while still providing effective clearing.
Stopping the Snow Blower
Release the bail switch to stop the motor and auger rotation. The unit will automatically shut off.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your snow blower.
- Cleaning: After each use, clear any snow or ice from the auger housing, chute, and exterior surfaces. Use a soft brush or cloth. Never use water directly on electrical components.
- Battery Care: Always store batteries in a cool, dry place. Charge batteries fully before long-term storage.
- Auger Inspection: Periodically inspect the auger for wear or damage. Replace worn auger blades as needed.
- Storage: Fold the handle for compact storage. Store the snow blower in a dry, protected area away from direct sunlight and moisture.
