1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Oreilet Battery Powered Heater. This portable 170W, 18V space heater is designed for use in various small environments such as cars, offices, camping setups, or under desks. It features two temperature settings and a 360-degree adjustable head for directional warmth. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

• Do not operate the heater if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use the heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where it may come into contact with water.
• Keep flammable materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.
• This heater is designed for use with compatible 18V lithium-ion batteries only. Do not attempt to use incompatible batteries.

4. Setup

To set up your Oreilet Battery Powered Heater, follow these steps:

1. Battery Installation: Ensure the heater's power switch is in the 'OFF' position. Insert a compatible 18V lithium-ion battery into the battery slot at the base of the heater. Compatible batteries include models such as BL1815, BL1820, BL1530, BL1840, BL1850, BL1860.
2. Positioning: Place the heater on a stable, flat surface. The heater head can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally and approximately 50-60 degrees vertically to direct warmth as needed.

This heater is compatible with 18V B series lithium batteries. Examples include:

• BL1850B (197285-8)
• BL1840B (197270-1)
• BL1830B (197602-2)
• BL1430B (197618-7)
• BL1820B (197487-6)
• BL1850, BL1840, BL1440 (196391-6), BL1415 (194560-3), BL1815N (196781-3)

Not compatible with:

• G series batteries (e.g., BL1813G, BL1413G, BL1415G, BL1430G, BL1815G)
• 18V Ni CD batteries (e.g., 1822)

5. Operating Instructions

Once the battery is securely installed, you can begin operating the heater.

1. Power On: Locate the power switch on the side of the heater unit. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position.
2. Temperature Settings: The heater offers two temperature settings:
   • First Setting: Provides a temperature range of 30 to 50℃.
   • Second Setting: Provides a higher temperature range of 50 to 80℃.
   Select the desired setting based on your comfort needs.
3. Adjusting Direction: Manually adjust the heater head to direct the airflow to your preferred area. The head can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and approximately 50-60 degrees vertically.
4. USB Charging: The heater base includes two DC 5V 2A USB ports, allowing you to charge compatible devices while the heater is in use or powered on.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heater.

• Cleaning: Always disconnect the battery before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to drip into the heater.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the heater for any signs of damage, such as cracks in the casing or loose connections. Do not operate if damage is found.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Heater does not turn on:
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
  • Verify the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Check if the battery is compatible with the heater.
• Heater is not producing sufficient heat:
  • Ensure the heater is set to the desired temperature setting (first or second gear).
  • Confirm that the air intake and output grilles are not obstructed.
  • The heater is designed for small spaces; performance may vary in larger areas.
• Unusual noises or odors:
  • Immediately turn off the heater and remove the battery.
  • Do not operate the heater if it emits unusual noises, smells, or smoke. Contact customer support.
