4. Setup

4.1 Battery Charging

The 4.0Ah Li-ion battery pack is not fully charged upon purchase. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.

  1. Connect the fast charger to a standard power outlet.
  2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger base, ensuring it clicks into place.
  3. Observe the charger indicator lights. A red light typically indicates charging, and a green light indicates a full charge.
  4. Once fully charged, remove the battery pack from the charger. Do not leave the battery on the charger for extended periods after it is fully charged.

4.2 Attaching and Removing Sockets

The impact wrench features a 1/2-inch square drive anvil for attaching impact sockets.

  1. Attaching: Align the square opening of the desired impact socket with the 1/2-inch square drive anvil. Push the socket firmly onto the anvil until the detent pin engages and secures the socket.
  2. Removing: Pull the socket firmly away from the anvil. If the detent pin is tight, a slight twisting motion may help.

Note: Only use impact-rated sockets with this tool. Standard sockets may crack or shatter under impact force.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Installing the Battery Pack

Slide the charged battery pack into the base of the impact wrench until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

5.2 Variable Speed Trigger

The tool is equipped with a variable speed trigger. Pressing the trigger lightly will result in lower speed and torque, while pressing it further will increase speed and torque up to the maximum 3000 RPM.

5.3 Forward/Reverse Operation and Brake Stop Mode

The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening).

  • Forward (Tightening): Push the switch to the left.
  • Reverse (Loosening): Push the switch to the right. In reverse, the tool features a Brake Stop Mode which provides instant torque cut-off to prevent over-loosening or dropping fasteners.
  • Lock Position: When the switch is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental startup. Always set the switch to the lock position when not in use or when changing accessories.

5.4 Torque Gear Selection

The impact wrench offers two torque gears (High and Medium) for different applications. Use the control panel to select the desired gear.

  • Medium Gear: Provides lower torque and speed (e.g., 0-2500 RPM) for precision control and lighter tasks.
  • High Gear: Provides maximum torque and speed (e.g., 0-3000 RPM) for heavy-duty fastening and loosening.
