3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Connecting to a Television
The IBELL 2288 DVD Player offers multiple connectivity options for video and audio output.

HDMI Connection (Recommended for Smart TVs)
For the best video and audio quality, connect the DVD player to your Smart TV using an HDMI cable (not included).
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI IN port on your television.
- Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV using its remote control.
RCA (Composite Video & Stereo Audio) Connection
Use the provided RCA cable for standard definition video and stereo audio.
- Connect the yellow plug of the RCA cable to the VIDEO OUT (yellow) port on the DVD player.
- Connect the red and white plugs to the AUDIO OUT (red for right, white for left) ports on the DVD player.
- Connect the other ends of the RCA cable to the corresponding IN ports on your television.
- Select the corresponding AV input on your TV.
5.1 Surround Sound Audio Output
For immersive audio, connect to a compatible 5.1 channel amplifier or home theater system using the dedicated 5.1 audio output ports (Front L/R, Rear L/R, Center, Subwoofer) or digital outputs.
- Fiber Optical/Coaxial: Connect a digital audio cable from the OPTICAL or COAXIAL OUT port on the DVD player to the corresponding input on your amplifier.
- Analog 5.1: Connect RCA cables from the 5.1 CH OUT ports on the DVD player to the 5.1 CH IN ports on your amplifier.
3.2 Power Connection
- Ensure all audio and video connections are secure.
- Plug the power cord of the DVD player into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn on the unit. The LED display will illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Disc Playback
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel or remote control to open the disc tray.
- Place a DVD or compatible disc (label side up) onto the disc tray.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The player will automatically begin reading the disc.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, FORWARD, REWIND, NEXT, and PREV buttons on the remote control to manage playback.

4.2 USB Playback and Copy Function
The IBELL 2288 DVD Player supports playback of media files directly from a USB drive.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel of the player.
- The player should automatically detect the USB drive and display its contents. If not, press the USB button on the remote control or the SOURCE button on the front panel to switch to USB mode.
- Navigate through your files using the arrow keys and ENTER button on the remote control.
- To use the copy function, select the desired file on a disc or another USB device and follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the remote control's 'USB COPY' button.
4.3 Remote Control Functions
The full-function remote control allows convenient operation from a distance. Familiarize yourself with the buttons for power, playback controls, menu navigation, volume, audio/subtitle selection, and special features like karaoke and child lock.
4.4 Karaoke Function
The player features dual microphone sockets for karaoke. Connect microphones (not included) to the MIC1 and MIC2 ports on the front panel. Adjust microphone volume and echo effects using the remote control or on-screen menu.
4.5 Child Lock Feature
To prevent accidental operation or access to certain content, activate the child lock feature through the system setup menu. Consult the on-screen menu for specific steps to set and disable the child lock password.
4.6 LED Display
The 4-digit LED screen on the front panel displays essential information such as track number, elapsed time, and current mode (e.g., DVD, USB, Standby).
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Unit
