  2. Crumb Tray: Pull out the full-pull nonstick crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Dispose of crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the tray is dry before reinserting. Clean regularly to prevent crumb buildup, which can affect toasting consistency and pose a fire hazard.

  4. Interior: The toaster features a nano-coated interior for easier cleaning. Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean.
  5. Cord Storage: Utilize the hidden cord storage on the bottom of the toaster for neat organization when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Foyoconven Smart Toaster, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Toaster does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Check your household circuit breaker.
  • Bread is not toasting evenly:
    • Ensure bread slices are of similar thickness and centered in the slots.
    • Clean the crumb tray regularly to ensure consistent heat distribution.
    • Avoid overcrowding the slots.
  • Toast is too light or too dark:
    • Adjust the browning level setting on the touchscreen. Lighter settings (1-3) for less browning, darker settings (4-6) for more.
    • Consider the type of bread; denser or moister breads may require a higher setting.
  • Toaster smokes:
    • Unplug immediately.
    • Remove any lodged food particles.
    • Clean the crumb tray thoroughly.
    • Ensure no foreign objects are in the toasting slots.
  • Lever does not stay down:
    • The toaster must be plugged into a live electrical outlet for the lever to engage.
