2.1. Preparation

• Ensure all accessories are complete and undamaged before starting.
• The wall for indoor unit installation must be hard and firm to prevent vibration.
• Reserve adequate space around both indoor and outdoor units for proper airflow and maintenance, as indicated in the dimension diagrams.

2.2. Indoor Unit Installation

1. Drill a hole in the wall for piping, ensuring it slants slightly downward (5°-10°) to allow for drainage. Avoid pre-buried power wires.
2. Fasten the pegboard horizontally to the wall using screws, ensuring it is level.
3. Connect the power cable to the indoor unit's terminal board, securing it with a clamp.
4. Remove the knock-out panel for the drain pipe, smoothing any burrs.
5. Connect the refrigerant pipes to the indoor unit, tightening the taper nuts first by hand, then with a torque wrench to the specified torque values (refer to the table in the video for pipe sizes and torque).
6. Wrap the pipe joints with insulation sleeve and then insulating material to prevent condensate water generation.
7. Connect the water outlet to the drain pipes and ensure the connection pipes, cables, and drain hose are straight.
8. Use plastic cable ties to wrap the connecting pipes, cables, and drain hose together, ensuring the pipe slopes downward.
9. Carefully feed the refrigerant piping through the wall hole.
10. Hang the indoor unit on the pegboard, ensuring the hooks are properly positioned and secured.
11. Install a pipe protecting ring and seal it with putty around the wall hole to protect piping and wires.

2.3. Outdoor Unit Installation

• Ensure the outdoor unit is placed according to the required clearances for proper airflow (refer to the diagram in the video).
• Use at least 6 expansion bolts to fix the mounting brackets firmly on the wall. Ensure the brackets are level.
• Carefully place the outdoor unit onto the brackets and secure its feet with 4 screws.
• Remove the nuts from the stop valves. Aim at the pipe center of the stop valve, tighten the taper nut with fingers, then use two wrenches to fully tighten.
• Remove the electrical box cover. Connect the cables to the corresponding terminals on the outdoor unit's terminal board (refer to the wiring diagram in the video). Ensure the ground wire is securely connected. Fix the cables reliably with fasteners.
• Apply vacuum to the system for at least 15 minutes. The compound vacuum gauge should read -0.1MPa (-76cmHg).
• After vacuuming, fully open the stop valves using a hex wrench.
• Screw all the caps back onto the stop valves and tighten them securely.
• Replace the electrical box cover and fasten it with screws.
