2. Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always follow these safety precautions:

  • Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
  • This product is intended for outdoor use. Ensure the power outlet used is rated for outdoor conditions and protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
  • Do not look directly into the LED light source when illuminated, as it can cause eye damage.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the light fixture. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • Keep the power cord away from sharp edges, hot surfaces, and chemicals.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound to support the weight of the fixture.

6. Setup & Installation

The iMaihom flood light is designed for easy plug-in installation. No complex wiring is required.

6.1 Mounting Options

The fixture can be mounted on a wall or under a soffit/eave.

6.2 Installation Steps

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable outdoor location for mounting, ensuring it is within reach of a standard outdoor power outlet.
  2. Mounting Bracket: Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the mounting bracket to the desired surface (wall or soffit).
  3. Attach Fixture: Secure the flood light fixture to the mounted bracket.
  4. Adjust Heads: Loosen the adjustment screws on the light heads and position them to cover the desired lighting area. Tighten the screws to lock them in place.
  5. Plug In: Plug the 4.9ft power cord into a suitable outdoor, GFCI-protected power outlet. Ensure the outlet is covered and protected from weather elements.

7. Operating Instructions

Your iMaihom flood light comes with a remote control for easy operation. Ensure the remote has working batteries.

7.1 Remote Control Functions

  • D2D (Dusk to Dawn): Activates the automatic mode. The light will turn on at night and off during the day.
  • 2H/4H/6H/8H/12H (Timer): Sets the duration for the light to stay on in Dusk-to-Dawn mode.
  • ESC: Exits the timer function.
  • Slight Bright ON/OFF: Toggles a dim (15% brightness) mode, often used after a timer ends.
  • Brightness +/-: Adjusts the light intensity.
  • Always ON/OFF: Manually turns the light on or off, overriding other modes.

7.2 Lighting Modes

  1. Dusk-to-Dawn Auto Mode: Press the "D2D" button on the remote. The built-in photocell sensor will automatically turn the light on when it gets dark and off when it becomes light.
  2. Switch-Controlled (Always-On) Mode: Press the "Always ON" button to manually turn the light on, or "Always OFF" to turn it off. This mode bypasses the photocell sensor.

7.3 Brightness Adjustment

Use the "Brightness +" and "Brightness -" buttons on the remote to adjust the light intensity from 1% to 100% in any mode.

7.4 Timer Function

In Dusk-to-Dawn mode, you can set a timer for the light to operate for a specific duration after turning on at dusk.

  1. Press the "D2D" button.
  2. Select your desired duration (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, or 12H). The light will remain on for this period and then turn off.
  3. Optionally, press "Slight Bright ON" before the timer ends to switch to 15% brightness after the timer expires, instead of turning off completely.
  4. To cancel the timer, press "ESC".

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your flood light.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and photocell sensor with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, fraying, or wear. If damage is found, discontinue use and replace the unit.
  • Adjustments: Check the tightness of mounting screws and light head adjustment screws periodically to ensure the fixture remains securely in place.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your iMaihom flood light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
