Assembly Instructions

This section provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your DUMOS gaming chair. An online installation video is also available for visual guidance.

1. Assemble the Chair Base:

   Attach the five chrome legs to the central base using the provided screws (R)*10. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. Insert the five casters (K) into the ends of the legs until they click into place. Finally, insert the gas lift cylinder (J) into the center hole of the assembled base.
2. Attach the Seat Plate to the Seat Cushion:

   Locate the seat cushion (B) and the seat plate (M). Align the seat plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws (Q)*8. Ensure the levers on the seat plate face the front of the seat.

3. Install the Footrest Mechanism:

   Attach the footrest frame (G) to the underside of the seat cushion, near the front, using screws (T)*1. Then, attach the footrest pad (F) to the footrest frame using screws (O)*6. Ensure the footrest can slide in and out smoothly.

4. Connect the Seat to the Gas Lift:

   Carefully place the assembled seat cushion onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the gas lift fits securely into the mechanism on the underside of the seat.
5. Attach the Backrest:

   Align the backrest (A) with the mounting brackets on the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws (Q)*8. Ensure the backrest is firmly attached and stable.

6. Install the Armrests:

   Attach the armrests (E) to the sides of the chair, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes. Use the provided screws (S)*4 to secure each armrest. Ensure they are firmly attached and the linkage mechanism operates correctly.

7. Attach Headrest and Lumbar Pillows:

   Attach the headrest pillow (D) and lumbar pillow (C) using their integrated straps. The headrest pillow typically attaches through the holes at the top of the backrest, and the lumbar pillow wraps around the lower backrest. Adjust their positions for optimal comfort.

Operating Instructions

Your DUMOS gaming chair offers several adjustable features to enhance your comfort and support.

Adjusting Seat Height:

To adjust the seat height, locate the "LIFT" lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up and pull the lever up. Release the lever to lock the seat at the desired height.

Reclining the Backrest:

To recline the backrest, locate the recline lever on the right side of the seat. Pull the lever up and lean back to the desired angle (between 90° and 135°). Release the lever to lock the backrest in position. To return to an upright position, pull the lever up and lean forward.

Using the Retractable Footrest:

To extend the footrest, pull it out from underneath the seat. To retract it, push it back in until it is fully stored. The footrest provides additional support for your legs when reclining.

Adjusting Lumbar and Headrest Pillows:

The lumbar and headrest pillows are removable and can be repositioned along the backrest to suit your comfort needs. Adjust them vertically by sliding them along their straps.

Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your DUMOS gaming chair.

• Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the PU leather.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability and safety.
• Casters: Keep the casters free of debris (hair, dust, etc.) to ensure smooth rolling and prevent floor damage.
• Storage: Store the chair in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your DUMOS gaming chair, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• Chair is wobbly: Check all assembly screws and bolts, especially those connecting the base to the seat and the backrest. Ensure they are securely tightened.
• Seat height adjustment not working: Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged. Check if the gas lift cylinder is properly inserted into the base and seat mechanism.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Inspect casters for any trapped debris (hair, lint, etc.) and clean them. Ensure they are fully inserted into the chair base.
• Backrest not reclining: Verify that the recline lever is functioning correctly and not obstructed. Ensure no foreign objects are preventing the mechanism from moving.
• Footrest not extending/retracting: Check for any obstructions in the footrest mechanism. Ensure it is properly aligned within its tracks.
