2. Safety Instructions

- Ensure proper ventilation clearance above and below the controller (at least 100mm above and 200mm below).

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and correct installation of your solar charge controller.
4.1 Mounting the Controller
Choose a vertical surface protected from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and water. Ensure good ventilation around the controller.

- Mark Holes: Use the provided mounting template to mark the screw positions on the wall.
- Fix Screws: Install screws at the marked positions, leaving a small gap for mounting.
- Align and Mount: Align the controller with the screws and slide it into place. Tighten the screws securely.
4.2 Wiring Connections
Follow the connection sequence carefully to avoid damage to the controller or other components.
- Connect the Battery: Connect the battery to the controller's battery terminals (+ and -). Ensure correct polarity. The controller will power on and display battery voltage.
- Connect the Solar Panel: Connect the solar panel to the controller's PV terminals (+ and -). Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect the Load: Connect your DC loads to the controller's load terminals (+ and -). Ensure correct polarity.

5. Operating Instructions
The controller features an LCD display and buttons for easy operation and monitoring. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity for app-based control.
5.1 LCD Display and Buttons
The LCD displays various parameters such as PV voltage, battery voltage, charging current, and load status. Use the buttons to navigate through the display pages and adjust settings.
- Short Press: Cycles through different display pages (e.g., operating status, fault information, battery type, voltage data).
- Long Press: Enters or exits the setting mode for adjustable parameters.
- Up/Down Buttons: Used to adjust values when in setting mode.
5.2 Battery Type Selection
The controller automatically identifies 12V/24V battery types. However, you can manually select the battery type if needed, especially for lithium batteries to ensure proper charging parameters.
- Long press the 'SET' button to enter parameter setting mode.
- Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons to navigate to the battery type setting.
- Use the 'SET' button to select the desired battery type (GEL, SLA, FLD, LFP, etc.).
- Long press 'SET' again to save and exit.
5.3 Bluetooth APP Monitoring
Download the dedicated mobile application to monitor your system remotely and adjust parameters. The app provides real-time data and historical trends.
