3. Setup

Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Important: To prevent damage from battery leakage, remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period.

Point the remote control directly at the air conditioner's receiver window. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

Battery Replacement

When the remote control's display dims or its response becomes sluggish, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 3.1. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type (AAA).

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the remote in water.

• Remote not responding:
