1. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface or mount it to the ceiling. Ensure the projector lens is perpendicular to the projection surface for the best image quality. Maintain adequate distance from the wall or screen to achieve the desired screen size.

  • For a 100-inch screen, approximately 2.5 to 3 meters (8-10 feet) distance is recommended.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the lens.
  • Avoid placing the projector in direct sunlight or near strong light sources.

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the projector's power input port.
  2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a power outlet.
  3. The power indicator light on the projector will illuminate.

4.3 Initial Power On and Basic Settings

  1. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device.
  2. The projector will boot up and display the Android 12 home screen.
  3. Automatic Focus: The projector features automatic focus. If the image appears blurry, the projector will automatically adjust.
  4. Automatic Keystone Correction: The projector will automatically correct trapezoidal distortion. For manual adjustment, navigate to the settings menu.
  5. Network Connection:
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
    • Select Wi-Fi and choose your network, then enter the password.
    • Alternatively, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for a wired connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to navigate the projector's interface and control playback. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.

  • Power Button: Turns the projector on/off.
  • Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Move through menus.
  • OK Button: Confirms selections.
  • Back Button: Returns to the previous screen.
  • Home Button: Returns to the Android home screen.
  • Volume +/-: Adjusts the volume.
  • Input Source: Selects the input source (HDMI, USB, AV).

5.2 Connecting External Devices

The Everycom YG710W supports various external devices:

  • HDMI Devices (TV Stick, Game Console, Laptop):
    1. Connect the HDMI cable from your device to an HDMI port on the projector.
    2. Press the "Input Source" button on the remote and select the corresponding HDMI input (HDMI 1 or HDMI 2).
  • USB Storage Devices:
    1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
    2. The projector will usually prompt you to open the media player. If not, navigate to the File Manager app on the Android home screen to browse content.
  • Bluetooth Devices (External Speakers, Headphones):
    1. Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Pair new device.
    2. Put your Bluetooth device into pairing mode.
    3. Select your device from the list to pair.
  • Screen Mirroring (Smartphone/Tablet):

    The projector supports wireless screen mirroring. Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the projector.

    1. On the projector's Android home screen, open the screen mirroring application (e.g., "Miracast" or "AirPlay").
    2. On your smartphone/tablet, enable screen mirroring (e.g., "Smart View" on Samsung, "Screen Mirroring" on Android, or "AirPlay" on iOS).
    3. Select the projector from the list of available devices.

5.3 Audio Output

The projector has integrated dual 15W speakers. For external audio, connect headphones or external speakers to the 3.5mm audio output jack or pair via Bluetooth.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens.

6.2 Cleaning the Projector Body

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or chemical cleaners, which may damage the finish.

6.3 Ventilation
