1. Setup

1.1 Charging the Cleaner

Before first use, fully charge your Lydsto YM-RPC01 Robotic Pool Cleaner. The unit features a convenient top-mounted charging port. Simply lift the small button cover and insert the charger. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours, providing up to 120 minutes of cleaning runtime.

1.2 Initial Placement in the Pool

Once fully charged, select your desired cleaning cycle using the top button. Gently lower the cleaner into the pool. The unit will sink to the bottom and begin its cleaning cycle automatically after a brief calibration period.

2.1 Cleaning Cycles and Modes

The Lydsto YM-RPC01 offers multiple cleaning cycles to suit your pool's needs. Press and hold the power button on top of the unit to cycle through available cleaning durations, including a 30-minute option and up to 120 minutes for larger areas. The LED indicator will confirm your selection.

2.2 Obstacle Crossing and Navigation

Equipped with upgraded obstacle crossing capabilities, the cleaner can easily navigate over wrinkles up to 0.2 inches and climb slopes up to 15°. Its streamlined design reduces drag and optimizes water flow for efficient cleaning across various pool terrains.

2.3 Enhanced Edge Cleaning

2.4 Automatic Shut-Off and Self-Parking

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the Dual-Layer Filter System

The cleaner features a dual-layer cleaning system with a 180μm mesh for larger debris and a cotton sponge layer for fine particles. To clean, unclip the two side latches, lift the top cover, and remove the filter tray. Rinse the filter thoroughly with a hose. Ensure all debris is removed before reassembling.

3.2 Storage

When not in use, store the pool vacuum cleaner in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It is recommended to charge it every 3 months to ensure battery performance and longevity.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Cleaner not moving: Ensure the unit is fully charged and the power button is pressed to start a cleaning cycle. Check for any obstructions in the wheels or suction port.
  • Poor suction/cleaning: Clean the dual-layer filter system. Accumulated debris can reduce performance. Ensure the pool water chemistry is balanced.
  • Unit not charging: Verify the charger is properly connected to both the unit and a power outlet. Check the LED indicator for charging status.
  • Unit stuck on an obstacle: While the cleaner has good obstacle crossing, excessive debris or unusual pool features might cause it to get stuck. Retrieve the unit using the provided hook and clear any obstructions.
