5. Setup and Assembly

Your DDC SPORT M1 electric bike arrives 90% assembled. The remaining assembly steps are straightforward and can be completed using the included tool kit.

Initial Steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging.
  2. Unfolding: Refer to the "Folding and Unfolding" section for detailed instructions on how to safely unfold the bike.
  3. Handlebar Adjustment: Adjust the handlebar height and angle to your preferred riding position. Ensure the quick-release lever is securely fastened.
  4. Seat Adjustment: Adjust the seat post height for comfortable pedaling. Secure the quick-release lever.
  5. Pedal Installation: Attach the pedals. Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise.
  6. Accessory Installation: Install the front carrier, phone holder, rearview mirrors, and bottle holder as desired using the provided tools.

8. Folding and Unfolding

  1. Ensure the bike is powered off.
  2. Lower the seat post completely.
  3. Fold the pedals inward (if they are foldable).

  2. Carefully unfold the main frame until it locks securely into place. Ensure the safety catch is engaged.
  3. Raise and lock the handlebar stem into position.
  4. Unfold the pedals.
