3. Setup and Installation

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Placement: Choose a location with a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight and heat. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from walls for proper ventilation.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Water Bottle Installation (Bottom Load):
    • Open the bottom cabinet door.
    • Remove the cap from a new 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
    • Insert the water probe into the bottle opening.
    • Slide the water bottle into the cabinet.
    • Close the cabinet door completely. The machine will not pump water unless the door is fully closed.
  5. Initial Priming: Before dispensing water or making ice for the first time, allow the unit to sit for at least 30 minutes after plugging in to allow the compressor fluids to settle. Then, dispense water from both the cold and room temperature spouts until water flows steadily to ensure the system is primed.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your water dispenser.

  1. External Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Drip Tray Cleaning: The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning.
    • Gently pull out the drip tray from the front of the dispenser.
    • Empty any accumulated water and wash the tray with mild soap and water.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.
  3. Internal Cleaning (Descaling): Periodically descale the internal water tanks to prevent mineral buildup.
    • Unplug the dispenser and remove the water bottle.
    • Drain all water from the cold and room temperature tanks using the drain plugs located at the back of the unit.
    • Prepare a descaling solution (e.g., a mixture of white vinegar and water, or a commercial descaling agent).
    • Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
    • Allow it to sit for 30 minutes to an hour.
    • Drain the solution completely.
    • Rinse the tanks thoroughly by filling and draining with clean water several times.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ICEVOKE water dispenser, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No water dispensed
  • Water bottle empty or not properly installed.
  • Bottom cabinet door not fully closed.
  • Unit not plugged in or power switch off.
  • Replace water bottle or ensure proper installation.
  • Close the cabinet door completely.
  • Check power connection and switch.
No ice production
  • Ice maker function not activated.
  • Water level too low ("ADD WATER" indicator on).
  • Ice bin full ("ICE FILL" indicator on).
  • Ambient temperature too high.
  • Press the "MAKE ICE" button.
  • Replace water bottle.
  • Empty the ice bin.
  • Ensure proper ventilation and suitable room temperature.
Water not cold enough
  • Cold water function not activated.
