2. What's in the Box

3. Setup
3.1 Physical Setup
- Attach the Stand: Carefully place the TV screen-down on a soft, flat surface. Align the stand pieces with the mounting holes on the bottom of the TV and secure them with the provided screws.
- Position the TV: Place the TV on a stable, level surface or mount it on a wall using a compatible VESA mount (sold separately). Ensure adequate ventilation around the TV.
- Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the TV's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet.

3.2 Initial Power On and First-Time Setup
After connecting the power, press the power button on the remote control or on the TV itself to turn it on. The TV will guide you through the initial setup process:
- Language Selection: Choose your preferred language.
- Network Connection: Connect to your Wi-Fi network or use an Ethernet cable for a wired connection.
- Fire TV Account: Sign in with your Amazon account or create a new one to access Fire TV features.
- Channel Scan: The TV will prompt you to scan for available channels via antenna, cable, or satellite.
- Alexa Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Alexa voice control for your TV and compatible smart home devices.
4. Operating Your TV
4.1 Remote Control
The included Bluetooth remote control provides easy navigation and direct access to key features. It includes dedicated buttons for popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Amazon Music, as well as an Alexa button for voice commands.

4.2 Fire TV Interface
The Fire TV operating system provides a user-friendly interface for accessing a wide range of content. Navigate using the remote's directional pad to browse apps, movies, TV shows, and live TV. The home screen offers personalized recommendations and quick access to your favorite applications.

4.3 Voice Control with Alexa
Your Thomson Fire TV integrates Alexa voice control. Press the Alexa button on your remote and speak commands to:
- Launch apps (e.g., "Alexa, open Netflix")
- Search for content (e.g., "Alexa, find action movies")
- Control playback (e.g., "Alexa, pause", "Alexa, fast forward")
- Get information (e.g., "Alexa, what's the weather?")
- Control compatible smart home devices (e.g., "Alexa, turn off the lights")
4.4 AirPlay
Cast content directly from your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) to your Thomson TV using AirPlay. Ensure both your Apple device and the TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Select the AirPlay icon on your Apple device and choose your Thomson TV from the list of available devices.

4.5 Smart Home Integration
The integrated Smart Home Dashboard allows you to monitor and control compatible smart home devices directly from your TV. Access this feature through the Fire TV interface to manage your connected home ecosystem.
4.6 Triple Tuner Functions
Your TV is equipped with a triple tuner, allowing reception of various broadcast signals:
- DVB-C: Digital Video Broadcasting - Cable (for cable television)
- DVB-S2: Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite (for satellite television)
- DVB-T2: Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial (for over-the-air antenna television)
During initial setup or via the TV settings menu, you can scan for channels from your preferred source.

6.2 Software Updates
Your Fire TV will periodically receive software updates to improve performance and add new features. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet to receive these updates automatically. You can also manually check for updates in the TV's settings menu.
7. Troubleshooting
