- Wind Scale (1-12 Levels): Indicates the Beaufort wind force scale.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The device requires two AAA batteries. Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Use the provided small Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the battery compartment cover.
- Carefully remove the battery cover. Note that the cover may fit snugly and require gentle prying from both sides simultaneously to avoid damage.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover and secure it with the two screws. Do not overtighten.
2. Powering On/Off
Press the Power On/Off Key (red button) to turn the device on. The LCD display will briefly show all segments before displaying current wind speed and temperature. To turn off the device, press and hold the Power On/Off Key again. The device also features a 10-minute auto-shutdown function to conserve battery life.
Operating Instructions
1. Taking Measurements
Hold the anemometer so that the wind flows directly into the fan blades for accurate readings. The current wind speed and temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
2. Changing Wind Speed Units
Press the UNIT Key to cycle through the available wind speed units: meters per second (m/s), feet per minute (ft/min), knots, kilometers per hour (km/h), and miles per hour (mph).

3. MAX/MIN/AVG Functions
- Press the MAX/MIN Key once to display the maximum wind speed recorded since the device was powered on.
- Press it again to display the minimum wind speed.
- Press it a third time to return to the current wind speed display.
- Press the AVG Key to display the average wind speed.
4. Temperature Unit Switch
Press the °F/°C Key to switch the temperature display between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).
5. Backlight
Short press the Backlight Key (sun icon) to turn the display backlight on. The backlight will automatically turn off after a few seconds to save power.
6. APP Connectivity (Smart Life App)
The LC-US-100APP-WIFI Anemometer supports connection to the Smart Life app for real-time monitoring, data recording, and remote control. Follow these steps to connect:
- Download the "Smart Life" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can also scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or image below.
- Open the Smart Life app and register for an account if you don't have one.
- Ensure your anemometer is powered on and Wi-Fi is enabled on your smartphone.
- In the Smart Life app, follow the instructions to add a new device. The app should guide you through the pairing process.
- Once connected, you can view real-time wind speed and temperature data, access historical records, and configure settings through the app.
