3. Product Overview
The 70mai 4K Dash Cam T800E features a compact design with a front-facing camera, an interior camera, and a separate rear camera. The main unit includes a memory card slot, rear camera port, and power port for easy connectivity.

4. Setup & Installation
4.1 Memory Card Insertion
Before using the dash cam, insert the provided 64GB MicroSD card into the memory card slot on the main unit. Ensure the card is oriented correctly and push it in until it clicks into place.
4.2 Main Dash Cam Installation
- Clean the area on your windshield where the dash cam will be mounted to ensure proper adhesion.
- Apply an electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area on the windshield. This helps protect your windshield and allows for easier repositioning.
- Attach the dash cam mount to the electrostatic sticker.
- Connect the power cord to the dash cam and route the cable neatly along the windshield and A-pillar, tucking it under the headliner and trim using the provided crowbar.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

4.3 Rear Camera Installation
- Connect the rear camera to the main dash cam unit and verify it functions correctly.
- Route the rear camera cable from the main unit to the rear windshield, tucking it neatly under the vehicle's headliner and trim.
- Clean the area on the rear windshield where the rear camera will be mounted.
- Apply an electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area on the rear windshield.
- Attach the rear camera to the electrostatic sticker.
- Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash cam's Type-C port.
4.4 Hardwire Kit Installation (Optional)
For continuous 24/7 parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (e.g., UP03 or UP06) is required. Installation of a hardwire kit involves connecting to your vehicle's fuse box and may require professional knowledge. It is recommended to consult a professional or refer to the detailed hardwire kit manual for proper installation.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 App Connection & Wi-Fi 6
The 70mai app allows you to manage your dash cam settings, view live footage, and download recordings. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and location permissions are enabled, and disable any VPN or WLAN Assistant tools.
- Plug in the dash cam to power and wait for it to turn on.
- Open the 70mai app on your smartphone and tap the '+' sign to add a new device.
- Select the T800E model from the list and follow the on-screen prompts to connect.
- Confirm the connection authorization on the dash cam when prompted.
- Tap to join the dash cam's Wi-Fi hotspot. The default password is 12345678.
- Once connected, you can access the album to view captured images and videos, or go to settings to adjust device configurations.

5.2 Voice Control
The 70mai T800E supports English voice commands for hands-free operation, enhancing driving safety and convenience. Supported commands include:
- Take Photo: Captures an image and saves it to the album.
- Record the Video: Records an emergency video and stores it in the emergency video directory.
- Enable Hotspot: Turns on the dash cam's Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Disable Hotspot: Turns off the dash cam's Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Record Audio: Enables audio recording along with video.
- Turn off Audio: Disables audio recording, only recording video.

5.3 Recording Modes

- Loop Recording: Automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the memory card is full, ensuring continuous recording without manual deletion. A 64GB SD card is included, supporting up to 512GB for extended recording.

To maintain optimal recording performance, it is recommended to regularly format the MicroSD card through the dash cam's settings in the 70mai app. The device supports MicroSD cards up to 512GB.
