6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the ⓒ/MOD button to turn the unit on. Press and hold to turn off.
- Source Selection: Press the ⓒ/MOD button repeatedly to cycle through available sources (FM/AM, BT, USB, SD, AUX).
- Volume Control: Rotate the large knob to adjust the volume level.
- Mute: Briefly press the rotary knob to mute/unmute audio.
6.2 Bluetooth Operation
The AW-5444BT supports Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
- Pairing:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Select 'BT' as the source on the car stereo. The display will show 'PAIRING'.
- Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone and select 'AW-5444BT'.
- Once paired, the display will show 'CONNECTED'.
- Hands-Free Calling:
- When a call comes in, the unit will display the caller ID.

- Audio Streaming:
