5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the device's USB port and the other end to a computer's USB port or a USB wall adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'ON' position. The screen will light up.
  • To Power Off: Slide the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'OFF' position. The device will save any current recording and shut down.

5.3 Connecting to a Computer or Smartphone

To transfer files, connect the device to a computer using the USB cable. The device will appear as a removable disk. For smartphone connection, use the provided OTG adapter to connect the recorder to your Android smartphone. This allows for direct file transfer.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Recording (One-Button Recording)

To start recording, simply slide the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'ON' position. The device will automatically begin recording. To stop and save the recording, slide the switch back to the 'OFF' position.

6.2 Voice-Activated Recording (VOR)

The device supports Voice-Activated Recording (VOR), which starts recording automatically when sound is detected and pauses when silence occurs, saving memory space. Refer to the device's menu settings to enable or disable VOR mode and adjust sensitivity levels (e.g., 100dB for high sensitivity, 60dB for lower sensitivity).

6.3 Playback
