Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack and Assemble: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Assemble the feeder by placing the stainless steel bowl into the designated slot and attaching the bowl shields.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the charger to the feeder and plug it into a power outlet. The feeder supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 & 5GHz). For battery backup, insert appropriate batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the feeder.
  3. Fill Food Tank: Open the sealed lid and fill the 3L food storage container with dry kibble. Ensure kibble diameter is between 2-15mm. Securely close the lid to maintain freshness.
  4. Install Desiccant Bag: Place the included desiccant bag in its designated slot under the lid to help keep food fresh. Replace the desiccant bag every half month.
  5. App Download & Setup: Download the PETLIBRO app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the feeder to your home Wi-Fi network and complete the initial setup.
  6. RFID Collar Tag Pairing: Each cat intended to use the feeder must wear the provided RFID collar tag. Pair each tag with the feeder via the app. The feeder will only open for pets wearing a registered tag. Note: This feeder only supports the provided collar tag and is not microchip activated.

Operating Instructions

RFID Sensor-Activated Feeding

The feeder's lid will automatically open when a pet wearing a registered RFID collar tag approaches. It will close slowly once the pet moves away, preventing other pets from accessing the food. The adjustable bowl lid speed can be customized for your cat's comfort.

  • Remote Feeding: Dispense food manually from anywhere using the "Feed Now" function.
  • Custom Meal Call: Record a voice message or customize the LED display with your pet's name or an emoji to alert them when it's mealtime.

To ensure food freshness, replace the desiccant bag every half month.

Troubleshooting

  • Food Jams: If food jams occur, ensure the kibble size is within the recommended 2-15mm range. Avoid overfilling the food tank or setting excessively large portion sizes that may clog the dispenser.
  • App Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi network is stable and the feeder is within range. Ensure your app is updated to the latest version. The feeder supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 & 5GHz).
  • Manual Button Malfunction: If manual buttons are unresponsive or exhibit "ghost inputs," ensure the lock button is held down first to unlock the controls.
  • Feeder Not Opening: Confirm the pet is wearing the correct RFID collar tag and that the tag is properly paired with the feeder in the app. Check for any obstructions around the lid mechanism.
