- Environmental Conditions: Do not charge the scooter in environments below 0 degrees Celsius or above 60 degrees Celsius. Unplug the charger when not in use.
- Traffic Laws: Always be aware of and follow local traffic rules. For example, a traffic notice for New York State indicates that electric scooters cannot be ridden on sidewalks or highways where traffic exceeds 30 MPH, unless otherwise permitted by local laws. 4. Assembly
The Hiboy KS4 Pro Electric Scooter comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Unfold the Scooter: Carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into place. Ensure the folding mechanism is securely latched.

5. Charging
The Hiboy KS4 Pro is powered by a 36V 11.6Ah Lithium-ion battery. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours.
- Locate the charging port on the scooter.
- Ensure the scooter is powered off before connecting the charger.
- Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port, then plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.
- Disconnect the charger from the wall outlet first, then from the scooter.
Note: Do not charge in extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 60°C). Unplug the charger when not in use to prevent overcharging and prolong battery life.

6. Operating Instructions

Press and hold the power button on the handlebar display to turn the scooter on or off.
6.2 Speed Modes
The scooter features dual speed modes: Eco (13 MPH) for extended range and Sport (19 MPH) for faster rides. Switch between modes using the power button or through the Hiboy App.
6.3 Riding
To start riding, kick off with one foot and then gently press the throttle. Maintain a balanced posture. The 500W motor (750W peak) provides strong power for inclines up to 15%.
6.4 Braking System
