Assembly Instructions
The GarveeHome storage cabinet features a knockdown design for straightforward assembly. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly. Estimated assembly time is approximately 40 minutes.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Wrench (if applicable for bolts)
- Rubber Mallet (optional, for gentle tapping)
Step-by-Step Assembly:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list to identify each piece.
- Assemble the Base: Attach the bottom panel to the side panels using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Casters: Attach the four wheels to the bottom panel. Ensure the two lockable casters are positioned at the front for easy access. Tighten securely.
- Attach Back Panel and Top Panel: Secure the back panel to the assembled frame, then attach the top panel.
- Assemble Drawers: Follow the specific instructions for assembling the two drawers, including attaching the drawer slides. Install the drawer slides onto the cabinet frame.

Operation
Using the Locking System:
- To lock the doors or drawers, insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise until it stops. Remove the key.
- To unlock, insert the key and turn it counter-clockwise.
- Keep spare keys in a safe, accessible location.
Moving the Cabinet:
- Ensure all items inside the cabinet are stable and doors/drawers are closed and locked before moving.
- Unlock the two front casters by pressing down on the lock levers.
- Carefully push the cabinet to its new desired location.
- Once in position, engage the locks on the two front casters by pressing the lock levers down to secure the cabinet.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder-coated finish. Dry thoroughly.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
- Caster Care: Keep the wheels free of debris to ensure smooth movement. Lubricate wheel axles if they become stiff.
- Lock Care: Apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the lock mechanisms if they become difficult to operate.

Troubleshooting
- Cabinet is Wobbly:
- Ensure all assembly hardware is fully tightened.
- Verify the cabinet is on a flat, level surface. Adjust caster locks if needed.
- Doors or Drawers Do Not Close Properly:
- Check for obstructions inside the cabinet or drawer tracks.
- Inspect hinges and drawer slides for damage or misalignment. Adjust if possible.
- Ensure the cabinet itself is square and not twisted from uneven assembly.
- Casters Do Not Roll Smoothly:

- Ensure the caster locks are fully disengaged.
