1. Important Safety Information

Before operating your DEEPOWER Electric Bike, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or property damage.

• Always wear a helmet that meets safety standards when riding.
• Familiarize yourself with local laws and regulations regarding electric bicycles.
• Perform a pre-ride inspection before each use, checking brakes, tires, battery, and lights.
• Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Avoid riding in adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow, which can reduce visibility and traction.
• Ensure the battery is securely locked in place before riding.

2. Setup and Assembly

Your DEEPOWER Electric Bike is approximately 90% pre-assembled at the factory. The remaining assembly steps are straightforward and can be completed with the included tools and instructions.

2.1 Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in the box:

• DEEPOWER Electric Bike frame with motor and rear wheel pre-assembled
• Front wheel
• Handlebars
• Seat post and saddle
• Pedals
• Battery and charger

2.2 Assembly Steps

1. Install the Front Wheel: Attach the front wheel to the fork, ensuring the disc brake rotor aligns correctly with the caliper. Secure with the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
2. Attach the Handlebars: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork's steerer tube and tighten the bolts. Adjust the handlebar angle for comfort.
3. Install the Seat Post: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the height and secure with the quick-release clamp.
4. Attach the Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the left pedal counter-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise into the crank arms. Tighten firmly.
5. Install the Battery: Slide the battery into its designated compartment on the frame and lock it with the provided key.

3. Battery Information and Charging

Your DEEPOWER Electric Bike is equipped with a high-capacity 960Wh removable lithium battery, UL safety certified and protected by an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS). The battery features IPX4 waterproof construction for reliable operation.

3.1 Charging the Battery

• Ensure the bike is turned off before charging.
• You can charge the battery while it is on the bike or remove it for charging indoors.
• Connect the charger to a standard power outlet, then connect the charging cable to the battery's charging port.
• The charger indicator light will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
• Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

3.2 Battery Care and Safety

• Avoid fully discharging the battery regularly to prolong its lifespan.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to 50-70% every 2-3 months.
• Do not expose the battery to fire or water.
• Only use the official DEEPOWER charger provided with your bike.

4. Operating Your DEEPOWER Electric Bike

Your DEEPOWER Electric Bike offers a powerful and versatile riding experience with multiple modes and features.

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the bike, insert the key into the battery lock and turn it to the 'ON' position, then press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, reverse the process.

4.2 Riding Modes

The bike supports three distinct riding modes:

• Electric Mode: Utilizes the 1500W peak brushless hub motor for propulsion without pedaling. Reach speeds up to 30 MPH.
• Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal, making riding easier, especially on inclines. The level of assistance can be adjusted via the display.
• Manual Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle, using pedal power only.

4.3 Gear System

The versatile 7-speed gear system allows you to adapt to various terrains, from city commutes to off-road trails. Shift gears using the shifter located on the handlebars.

4.4 LCD Display

The intuitive LCD display provides real-time information:

• Current Speed (MPH/KMH)
• Battery Level Indicator
• Mileage (Odometer/Trip)
• Pedal-Assist Level (PAS)
• Headlight Status

4.5 Brakes and Suspension

The bike features responsive dual disc brakes for safe and accurate stopping. The full front and rear suspension system absorbs shocks, providing a comfortable ride over uneven terrain.

4.6 Lighting System

Potent front and rear lights ensure visibility during nocturnal rides. Activate them via the controls on the handlebars.

5. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DEEPOWER Electric Bike.

• Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after each ride. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
• Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain recommended PSI for optimal performance and safety. The 4.0*20 inch fat tires are designed for various terrains.
• Brakes: Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers are responsive. Adjust or replace as needed.
• Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear shifting and prevent wear.
• Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on critical components like handlebars, wheels, and seat post.
• Battery: Follow the battery care guidelines in Section 3.2 to extend its lifespan.
