The Pard USA Bobcat 480 is a compact thermal imaging monocular designed for observation and ranging. The device incorporates a 480x360 thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch and a sensitivity of ≤18mk, allowing for detection of subtle temperature differences. An integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) offers accurate distance measurements up to 1,000 meters (1,094 yards). The vivid 1920x1080 OLED display enhances image brightness, detail, and contrast. 3.1 Battery Installation

The Bobcat 480 uses a replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery. To install or replace the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the monocular.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 18650 battery according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Charging

To charge the battery:

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the monocular's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The device's indicator light will show charging status.
  4. Alternatively, the 18650 battery can be charged using an external battery charger (included).
