Important Safeguards

• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
• Do not overfill the kettle above the MAX line or underfill below the MIN line to prevent boiling dry or splashing.
• Use only with the power base provided.

Setup

Before First Use:

1. Unpack the kettle and all accessories. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels.
2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or its power base in water.
3. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX fill line (1.0L).
4. Boil the water as described in the "Operating Instructions" section.
5. Discard the boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues and ensure the best taste.

Operating Instructions

1. Place the Base: Position the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure the cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
2. Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button on the handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark (0.3L) or above the MAX mark (1.0L) indicated on the water level window. Close the lid securely until it clicks.
3. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base. The 360° rotating base allows for easy placement from any angle.
4. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
5. Switch On: Press the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom of the handle. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the kettle is heating.
6. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.
7. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Be cautious of steam escaping from the spout.
8. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, wait a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before pressing the ON/OFF switch again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your kettle.

Exterior Cleaning:

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the matte finish.
• Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.

Interior Cleaning (Descaling):

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly (e.g., monthly or bi-monthly).

1. Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Allow the solution to soak in the kettle for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
4. Pour out the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
5. If necessary, repeat the process until all deposits are removed.
