2. Safety Information

3. Setup and Assembly

Your WINDHORSE W3 Electric Bike comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial preparation:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify all included items are present: bike frame, basket, pedals, charger (adapter and AC line), tool kit, reflectors, and user manual.
  2. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms. The left pedal threads counter-clockwise, and the right pedal threads clockwise. Tighten securely with the provided tool.
  3. Seat Adjustment: Adjust the seat height to a comfortable and safe riding position. Ensure your feet can touch the ground when stopped. The seat is height-adjustable to accommodate various rider heights.
  4. Handlebar Adjustment: The handlebar is foldable. Ensure it is securely locked in the upright position before riding.
  5. Basket Attachment: Attach the rear basket to the designated mounting points above the rear wheel. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  6. Initial Battery Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port and then to a power outlet. Charging typically takes 4-5 hours. The battery is UL 2849 certified.
