Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps in conjunction with the installation video for optimal assembly:
- Floor Assembly:
Connect the four A1 floor panels. Insert each A1 panel at an angle to interlock them, forming the base of the shed. Secure the panels using 8 SC5x14 screws.
- Wall Panel Installation:
Begin by inserting wall panel B1 into the floor base (A1). Then, attach wall panel B2 next to B1, ensuring they interlock. Continue adding wall panels B5 and B3 (the panel with the window opening) to form the initial corner and side walls. Use connecting strips B1-1 and B1-2 to secure the wall panels together. Ensure the panels are properly aligned and the specified gap for the B1-1/B1-2 connection is maintained. Secure the wall panels to the floor and to each other using SC5x14 screws (3 pieces for initial B1-2 connections, then 18 pieces for all wall panel connections).

- Window Assembly:
Insert the window frame (W1) into the designated opening on wall panel B3. Then, carefully slide the transparent window panel (W2) into the frame. Ensure W1 and W2 are securely fitted.
- Roof Gable Assembly:
Assemble the gable ends (C7) by attaching support beams (C1, C2, C3, C4, C6) using SC5x14 screws (3 pieces per gable end). Ensure all components are firmly attached to form the triangular roof sections.
- Roof Support Beam Installation:
Connect the roof support beam (E2) to the corner connectors (E1) using SC5x14 screws (4 pieces). Attach this assembly to the top of the wall panels, ensuring it sits securely on the gable ends (C7). Secure with SC5x30 screws (4 pieces).
- Roof Panel Installation:
Place the roof panels (F1 and F3) onto the assembled roof structure. Ensure they align with the gable ends and the central support beam. Adjust roof and wall joints with a scraper if needed to ensure a tight fit. Secure the roof panels using SC5x30 screws (6 pieces per side). Attach the roof ridge connectors (F4-1, F4-2) to the central roof beam (F4, F6) and click them into place. Secure the roof to the walls using SC5x14 screws (36 pieces).
- Door Assembly:
Attach the door connecting strips (D1-1, D1-2, D1-4) to the door panel (D1). Ensure the strips are correctly oriented. Attach the hinges (D1-1-2) to the door panel using SC4x30 screws (4 pieces). Attach the door handle (D1-3) to the door panel using SC5x30 screws (2 pieces). Finally, attach the door to the shed frame using the remaining SC4x30 screws (4 pieces) for the hinges and SC5x30 screws (2 pieces) for the door latch mechanism (B1-2-1).
- Final Securing:
Ensure all panels are securely fastened. Use the remaining SC5x30 screws (22 pieces) to secure the base of the shed to the floor panels, providing additional stability.
Operating Instructions
Opening and Closing the Door
- To open the door, grasp the handle and pull outwards.
- To close the door, push it firmly until it latches securely.
Locking Mechanism
The shed is equipped with a single lockable door. To secure your belongings, use a padlock (not included) through the designated hole on the door handle mechanism.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your Patiowell storage shed.
- Cleaning: Clean the shed periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the resin material. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Inspection: Annually inspect all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Re-tighten any loose fasteners.
- Drainage: Ensure the area around the shed is clear of debris to allow for proper water drainage and prevent water accumulation around the base.
- Snow Load: In areas with heavy snowfall, regularly remove accumulated snow from the roof to prevent excessive weight and potential damage.
Troubleshooting
- Door not closing properly: Check for any obstructions in the door frame or hinges. Ensure the shed is on a level surface; uneven ground can cause door misalignment.
- Water leakage: Verify that all roof panels are correctly overlapped and secured. Check that all screws are tightened and that the shed is on a level surface to prevent water pooling.
- Loose panels: Re-tighten all screws connecting the panels and to the base.
