5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance. Maintain at least 6 inches of clearance from walls and other objects to allow for proper heat dissipation.
3. Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

5.2 Water Connection

The ice maker supports two methods for water supply: direct tap water connection or bottled water.

Option 1: Tap Water Connection

1. Locate the water inlet port at the back of the unit.
2. Connect the provided water inlet hose to a potable water supply. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.
3. Connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the ice maker's inlet port.
4. Ensure the sewage pipe is properly connected to the drain outlet and directed to a suitable drainage point.

Option 2: Bottled Water Supply

1. Place a standard 3 or 5-gallon bottled water jug onto the designated water dispenser area on the unit.
2. Ensure the bottle is securely seated and the water flows into the internal reservoir.
