5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Rowenta X-Clean 2, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Appliance not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check that the handle is securely attached.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Verify that the clean water tank is filled and the dirty water tank is not full. Clean the roller and filter for any blockages.
  • Streaks on floor: Ensure you are using a non-foaming cleaning solution and not using excessive amounts. The appliance is designed for hard, smooth floors; avoid use on anti-slip surfaces.
  • Appliance stops during operation: The battery may be low. Recharge the appliance. Check for any blockages in the suction path.
  • Self-cleaning cycle is noisy or long: This is normal operation for the self-cleaning cycle. Ensure you follow voice prompts to empty/fill tanks as required.
  • Does not remove deep, dry stains: This appliance is designed for daily cleaning and fresh spills. For deep, set-in stains, pre-treatment or alternative cleaning methods may be required.

If problems persist, please contact customer support.
