1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the CRUA 27-inch Dual Mode Gaming Monitor, Model CR270FU. This monitor is designed for high-performance gaming and professional use, featuring a 27-inch IPS panel with two distinct display modes: 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 160Hz and Full HD (1920x1080) at 320Hz. Key features include AMD FreeSync technology for smooth visuals, Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) functions for enhanced multitasking, integrated speakers, and a highly ergonomic, adjustable stand.

2. Package Contents
Before proceeding with assembly and setup, please verify that all the following components are included in your package:

3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Stand Assembly
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging. Place the monitor screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach the monitor stand to the base. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Align the assembled stand with the mounting slot on the back of the monitor. The CRUA CR270FU features a tool-free quick release mechanism. Gently push the stand into the slot until it locks.

3.2 Connecting to Power
- Connect the power adapter cable to the DC input port on the back of the monitor.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a grounded electrical outlet.
3.3 Connecting to a Source Device
The monitor supports DisplayPort (DP) and HDMI connections. Use the appropriate cable for your source device (e.g., PC, gaming console).
- Connect one end of the DisplayPort or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on your source device.
- Connect the other end of the cable to an available DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 port on the back of the monitor.
- For audio output to external speakers or headphones, connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the monitor's audio jack to your audio device.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the back or bottom of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.
4.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, input source, and advanced features. Access the OSD menu by pressing the joystick/button on the back of the monitor. Navigate through the menu options using the joystick/buttons and confirm selections.
4.3 Dual Mode Operation (4K 160Hz / FHD 320Hz)
The CR270FU monitor supports two primary display modes, offering flexibility for different applications:
- 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 160Hz: Provides stunning image clarity and vibrant details, ideal for immersive gaming, content creation, and professional work requiring high resolution.
- Full HD (1920x1080) at 320Hz: Delivers ultra-smooth performance with lightning-fast response and reduced motion blur, perfect for competitive gaming, eSports, and fast-paced console games where speed is critical.
The monitor will automatically detect the input resolution and refresh rate from your connected device. To switch between these modes, adjust the display resolution and refresh rate settings within your computer's operating system or gaming console's display settings.

5. Adjustments and Ergonomics
The CR270FU monitor stand offers comprehensive ergonomic adjustments to ensure optimal viewing comfort and reduce strain during extended use:
- Height Adjustment: Adjust the monitor height up to 110mm to align the top of the screen with your eye level.
- Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the screen forward by 7° or backward by 16° to find your preferred vertical viewing angle.
- Swivel Adjustment: Swivel the monitor left or right by 16° to share your screen or adjust your position without moving the base.
- Pivot Rotation: Rotate the screen 90° for vertical (portrait) orientation, ideal for coding, document review, or specific content creation tasks.

5.1 Wall Mounting
The monitor is compatible with VESA 75x75mm wall mounts. To wall mount, remove the stand and attach a compatible VESA bracket (not included) to the mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
6. Advanced Features
6.1 AMD FreeSync
AMD FreeSync technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering for a smoother, more fluid gaming experience. This feature is automatically enabled when a compatible AMD graphics card is detected and FreeSync is active in your graphics driver settings.

6.2 Picture-in-Picture (PIP) & Picture-by-Picture (PBP)
These features allow you to display content from multiple input sources simultaneously on the monitor:
- Picture-in-Picture (PIP): Displays the secondary input source in a smaller window overlaid on the main display.
- Picture-by-Picture (PBP): Divides the screen into multiple sections, displaying each input source side-by-side.
Access and configure PIP/PBP modes through the OSD menu. This is useful for multitasking, monitoring multiple systems, or streaming while gaming.

6.3 Built-in Speakers
The monitor includes built-in speakers for audio output. Audio will be routed through the HDMI or DisplayPort connection. Volume can be adjusted via the OSD menu or your connected device.
6.4 Crosshair Overlay

- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen. Apply it to the cloth first.
- Avoid using benzene, thinner, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen surface.
7.2 General Care
- Avoid placing the monitor in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the monitor to prevent overheating.
- Do not place heavy objects on the monitor or its cables.
- Protect the screen from sharp objects or excessive pressure.
