Yogurt Making Steps
Follow these simple steps to make homemade yogurt:

- Prepare Ingredients: You will need milk (dairy or non-dairy) and a yogurt starter (either a store-bought yogurt with live active cultures or a powdered yogurt starter). For best results, use fresh, high-quality milk.
- Mix Ingredients: In a clean pitcher or bowl, thoroughly mix the milk with the yogurt starter. Ensure the starter is fully dissolved and evenly distributed.
- Fill Jars: Pour the milk and starter mixture into the clean glass jars provided. Do not fill to the very top; leave a small space.
- Place Jars in Unit: Arrange the filled jars into the yogurt maker's base. Ensure they fit snugly.
- Add Water (Optional, for even heating): Some users prefer to add a small amount of water to the bottom of the yogurt maker's basin, around the jars, to help distribute heat evenly. Ensure the water level is below the jar lids.
- Cover: Place the transparent cover over the jars and the main unit.
- Set Time and Temperature: Plug in the unit. Set your desired fermentation temperature (e.g., 42°C for traditional yogurt) and time (e.g., 8-10 hours). Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for details.
- Start Fermentation: Press the "Start/Cancel" button to begin the fermentation process. The unit will maintain the set temperature for the specified duration.
- Cool Down: Once the fermentation is complete and the unit beeps, carefully remove the jars from the yogurt maker. Place lids on the jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to chill and firm up the yogurt.
- Enjoy: Your homemade yogurt is ready! Add your favorite toppings such as fruits, nuts, honey, or granola.
