2. Voice Activated Recording (VOR)
The VOR function allows the recorder to automatically start recording when sound is detected and pause during silence, saving memory space and reducing background noise. To activate VOR, navigate to the settings menu and enable the VOR option. Important: For critical recordings where no part should be missed, it is recommended not to use the VOR function as it may skip brief pauses.

3. Recording Quality and Noise Reduction
The device supports recording in MP3 or HD 3072 Kbps WAV formats. You can adjust the recording quality in the settings. The dual microphones capture voices accurately, and the 7-level adjustable noise filter adapts to your environment, reducing unwanted background sounds like fan noise or wind.

For critical recordings, use the high-quality WAV format. For longer sessions where file size is a concern, MP3 format is suitable.
4. Playback and Music Functions
Use the Play/Pause button to listen to your recordings. You can adjust playback speed (slow down or speed up) and use the A-B Repeat function to loop specific sections for detailed analysis. The 2.01-inch color screen facilitates file management. The device also supports MP3, WMA, FLAC, and APE music formats, allowing it to function as a portable music player.

6. External Microphone/Line-In Connection
The V06 recorder supports external audio input via its 3.5mm Line-In port. This allows you to connect an external microphone for enhanced audio capture or directly record from other audio devices (e.g., instruments, phones) for high-quality, direct audio recording.

Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Cannot record:
- Check if there is sufficient memory space. Delete unnecessary files or transfer them to a computer. Ensure the device is not in a locked mode. If VOR is enabled, ensure there is detectable sound.
- Poor recording quality:
- Check the recording settings and ensure a high bitrate (e.g., 3072 Kbps WAV) is selected for critical recordings. Adjust the 7-level noise reduction filter in the settings to suit your environment. Ensure the microphone is not obstructed. If using an external microphone, ensure it is properly connected.
- Playback issues (e.g., no sound, distorted sound):
- Check the volume level. Ensure headphones are properly connected if using them. If using the internal speaker, ensure it is not obstructed. Try playing the file on a computer to determine if the issue is with the file or the device.
- Device is unresponsive:
- Try performing a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds. If the issue persists, allow the battery to fully discharge and then recharge it.
