2. Safety Information

General Safety Warnings

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger to a power outlet.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger indicator light will change when charging is complete.
4. Remove the battery from the charger once fully charged.

4.2 Loading Grease

The Alloyman grease gun supports both bulk grease and 14 oz (53mm diameter) grease cartridges.

Cartridge Loading:

1. Unscrew the barrel from the grease gun head.
2. Pull the plunger rod all the way back and lock it in place.
3. Remove both ends of the grease cartridge.
4. Insert the cartridge into the barrel.
5. Screw the barrel back onto the grease gun head.
6. Release the plunger rod.

Bulk Loading:

1. Unscrew the barrel from the grease gun head.
2. Pull the plunger rod all the way back and lock it in place.
3. Fill the barrel with bulk grease using a spatula or grease pump.
4. Screw the barrel back onto the grease gun head.
5. Release the plunger rod.

4.3 Attaching Hose and Coupler

1. Screw the flexible hose onto the grease gun's outlet port. Ensure it is tightened securely.
2. Attach your desired coupler (Quick-Release Locking, Standard Locking, or Needle Tip) to the end of the flexible hose.

4.4 Priming the Grease Gun

Before first use or after reloading grease, it is important to prime the gun to remove any air pockets.

1. Install a charged battery pack.
2. Locate the air bleed valve (usually a small screw or button) on the grease gun head.
3. Loosen the air bleed valve slightly or press the button.
4. Press the trigger of the grease gun until grease begins to flow out of the coupler and no air bubbles are visible.
5. Tighten the air bleed valve.
