Step-by-Step Assembly:

  1. Assemble the Base Frame (Steps 1-6):

Connect the bottom frame pieces (BS1L, BS1, BS2, BS3) using F1 screws. Ensure the frame is square and level by checking diagonal measurements. The floor frame must be both square and level for proper hole alignment.

  2. Install Wall Panels (Steps 8-23):

Attach the wall panels to the base frame. It is recommended to place all wall panels first, installing screws at the bottom, confirming their positions, and then proceeding to install screws on top. Ensure door frames (ULA, UR1) cover the raised part on the wall panel, do not insert.

  3. Assemble and Attach the Roof (Steps 24-36):

Assemble the roof panels and attach them to the top of the wall structure. Do not fully tighten F2 screws until all roof panels are in place. Install PS4, PS1, PS2, and PS3 in order. Do not install F1 and V2 in the holes near the outer side of PS2 and PS3.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your COMHOMA metal shed, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the shed with mild soap and water to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder-coated finish.
  • Inspect for Damage: Regularly check the shed for any signs of damage, such as dents, scratches, or loose screws. Address any issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.
  • Clear Roof: In areas with heavy snowfall, ensure the roof is cleared of excessive snow accumulation to prevent structural stress.
  • Lubricate Moving Parts: Lubricate door hinges and locking mechanisms annually to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
  • Ventilation: Keep the air vents clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow and prevent moisture buildup inside the shed.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during assembly or use, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Holes Not Aligning: Ensure the base frame is perfectly square and level. Slight adjustments to the frame or panels may be necessary. Do not overtighten screws until all parts are loosely fitted.
  • Missing Parts: Double-check the package contents against the parts list in your manual. If any parts are missing, contact COMHOMA customer support.
  • Door Sticking/Not Closing Properly: Verify that the shed is on a level surface. Uneven ground can cause door misalignment. Check hinges for proper installation and lubrication.
  • Water Leakage: Ensure all screws are tightened securely, especially on the roof panels. Check that the sloping roof design is correctly oriented for water runoff.
  • Plastic Film Removal: If the protective film is difficult to remove after assembly, try using a hairdryer on a low setting to gently warm the film, making it easier to peel off.
