1. Product Overview

The Samsung 27-inch Odyssey G6 QHD Gaming Monitor (Model LS27FG60DENXZA) is designed to provide a high-performance visual experience. It features QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) for detailed images, a Fast IPS panel for consistent color accuracy, and VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 for enhanced contrast. With a 350Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GtG) response time, it minimizes lag for responsive gameplay. G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync™ Premium ensure smooth, tear-free visuals. The monitor also includes Auto Source Switch+ for seamless device switching and an ergonomic stand for adjustable viewing comfort.

2. Setup Instructions

2.1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed below are present:

• Monitor Unit
• Power Cable
• HDMI Cable
• DP Cable

2.2. Stand Assembly

1. Place the monitor screen face down on a soft, clean cloth to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor using the provided screws.
3. Attach the stand base to the stand neck, securing it with the thumb screw.
4. Carefully lift the monitor and place it on a stable, flat surface.

2.3. Connecting Cables

Connect the necessary cables to the monitor's rear ports. Refer to the port diagram below:

• 1. Headphone OUT: Connect headphones or external speakers.
• 2. HDMI IN: Connect to a device using an HDMI cable.
• 3. DP IN: Connect to a device using a DisplayPort cable.
• 4. SERVICE: USB port for service and firmware updates.
• 5. POWER: Connect the power adapter.

After connecting all cables, plug the power cable into an electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom center of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.

3.2. Menu Navigation

Use the joystick button on the bottom center of the monitor to access and navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Push the joystick in to select an option, and move it up, down, left, or right to navigate.

3.3. Picture Settings

Adjust picture settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color temperature through the OSD menu to optimize your viewing experience. The monitor supports QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) for high detail.

3.4. Gaming Features

• 350Hz Refresh Rate & 1ms Response Time (GtG): These settings minimize input lag and motion blur, providing smooth and fluid visuals for fast-paced gaming.

• NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible & AMD FreeSync™ Premium: These technologies synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with your GPU's frame rate to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. Enable these features in your graphics card settings.

• Auto Source Switch+: This feature automatically detects when a connected device is turned on and switches the monitor input to that source without manual intervention.

3.5. Ergonomic Stand Adjustments

The monitor's ergonomic stand allows for various adjustments to optimize viewing comfort:

• Height Adjustment (HAS): Raise or lower the monitor to eye level.
• Tilt: Adjust the screen's vertical angle (forward or backward).
• Swivel: Rotate the screen horizontally.
• Pivot: Rotate the screen to portrait orientation.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning the Monitor

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or spraying liquid directly onto the screen.

4.2. General Care

Keep the monitor in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust. Avoid placing heavy objects on the monitor or its cables. When moving the monitor, handle it carefully and avoid applying pressure to the screen.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. No Display / Black Screen

• Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet.
• Verify that the video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) is firmly connected to both the monitor and your computer/device.
• Check if the monitor is set to the correct input source via the OSD menu.
• Restart your computer/device.

5.2. Image Quality Issues

• If the image is blurry or distorted, check the display resolution settings on your computer and ensure they match the monitor's native QHD (2560x1440) resolution.
• Adjust brightness, contrast, and sharpness settings in the OSD menu.
• If screen tearing occurs, ensure G-Sync or FreeSync is enabled in your graphics card control panel and on the monitor (if applicable).

5.3. No Sound

• Ensure external speakers or headphones are properly connected to the monitor's headphone output.
• Check the volume settings on both the monitor and your connected device.
