2. Important Safety Instructions

- Switch off the blower and remove the battery cartridge and make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop whenever you leave the machine.
- Before checking, cleaning, or working on the machine, switch off the blower and remove the battery cartridge.
- Do not leave appliance when battery fitted. Remove battery from appliance when not in use and before servicing.
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
- Do not use with damaged battery. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
- Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.

4. Setup & Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your DEGGE Cordless Tiller Cultivator. No additional tools are required beyond those provided.
- Install the Baffle: Insert the baffle from the handle end. Pay attention to the direction and insert the baffle into the slot and secure it with the provided screw.
- Install the Aluminum Tube: Align the female socket holes on the aluminum rod and with the male plug holes on the machine head. Insert fully until seated, then tighten the knob to secure.
- Install the Handle: Align the female socket holes on the handle with the male plug holes on the aluminum rod. Insert fully until engaged, then tighten the knob to secure.
- Install the Blades: Install two wheels on both sides of the shaft, then secure them with the provided security screws. Note: Wheels must be installed in reverse orientation. Incorrect installation will prevent alignment with shaft mounting holes.
- Install the Battery: Insert a fully charged 21V 3.0Ah battery into the battery slot at the bottom of the handle until it clicks into place.

- Starting the Tiller: The tiller features a dual-button activation safety switch. Press and hold the side safety button, then press the main trigger to start the motor. Release both buttons to stop.
- Tilling Technique: For harder soil, lightly water the area a day before tilling to soften it. Allow the tines to dig into the soil before moving forward. Work in shorter passes for optimal efficiency and avoid forcing the tool. Let the 48 hardened steel tines do the work.
- Tilling Depth and Width: The tiller can reach up to 6.7 inches deep and cover a 9-inch width per pass, making it ideal for breaking tough soil, mixing compost, loosening clay, and removing weeds at the root.
