Operating Instructions

The YARBO Robot s1 b1 is designed for autonomous operation across various yard tasks. Once assembled with the desired module, the robot can be controlled via a dedicated app or remote control.

General Operation

  • Autonomous Task Execution: Program your YARBO Robot through the mobile application to define work zones, schedules, and specific tasks (mowing, snow blowing, leaf blowing). The robot will autonomously navigate and perform these tasks.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: Equipped with advanced sensors and cameras, the YARBO Robot detects and avoids obstacles in real-time, ensuring safe operation around pets, people, and property.
  • Auto-Recharging: When the battery level is low, the robot will automatically return to its charging station, recharge, and resume its task from where it left off.
  • App Control: Use the YARBO app on your smartphone to monitor progress, adjust settings, and manually control the robot if needed.

Module-Specific Operations

  • Lawn Mowing: The lawn mower module features dual cutting discs and adjustable cutting heights (1.2 to 4.0 inches). It can effectively mow large yards up to 6 acres, adapting to various terrains and slopes.
  • Snow Blowing: The snow blower module is a 2-stage cordless electric snowblower with a 24-inch cleaning width. It can handle various snow types (dry, heavy, wet, packed) and throw snow up to 30 feet.
  • Leaf Blowing: The blower module efficiently clears leaves from your lawn.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your YARBO Robot s1 b1.

  • General Care: Always keep hands and feet away from moving parts. Wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves and eye protection. Do not operate the snow blower in enclosed spaces. Store the snow blower and its battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Blade Inspection (Lawn Mower): Regularly inspect the lawn mower blades for sharpness and damage. Replace or sharpen as needed to ensure a clean cut.
  • Track Cleaning: Periodically clean debris from the tracks to maintain optimal traction and prevent wear.
  • Battery Care: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for battery charging and storage to maximize battery life.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your YARBO Robot, consider the following:

  • Connection Issues: If the data center and the unit cannot connect, ensure all cables are securely attached and the data center has power and an Ethernet connection. Refer to the setup guide for proper data center installation.
  • Module Malfunction: If a module (e.g., auger in snow blower) is broken, contact customer support for replacement parts or service.
  • Obstacle Detection: If the robot is mowing over small objects like staked plants or chicken wire, ensure these areas are properly mapped as 'no-go' zones in the app, or remove them from the work area.
  • Traction Issues (Snow Blower): In heavy or icy snow conditions, the robot may experience traction issues. The 150lb robot is designed for normal to light density snow. For very heavy or icy conditions, manual clearing may be necessary.
