Operating Instructions

1. Locating Your Item

When your tracker is nearby, open the Find My app and select your item. You can then tap Play Sound to activate the built-in speaker, which can reach up to 70 dB in an open environment, helping you pinpoint its location. Sound performance may vary based on distance and surroundings.

2. Item Sharing

Each tracker tag can be shared within the Find My app with up to five additional people, totaling six users including the owner. This feature requires all users to have an Apple ID, be signed in to iCloud, and use a compatible iOS device (iOS 14.5 / iPadOS 14.5 or later). This allows family members or trusted individuals to collectively track shared items.

3. Item Left Behind Notifications

The Find My app can provide notifications if a tracked item is left behind or moves out of range. These alerts depend on your device settings and network conditions. Ensure your notification settings are configured appropriately in the Find My app.

Maintenance

2. How to Open the Battery Cover

To open the battery cover, use a standard U.S. coin (e.g., 10-cent, 25-cent, or 50-cent) or a similar flat tool. Align the coin with the designated slot on the tracker. Twist it 45° clockwise, following the "Open" marking, to gently release the cover. (Coin or tool not included).

To secure the cover, align it with the "Close" marking and twist 45° counter-clockwise until it is firmly closed.

3. Water Protection

The tracker itself does not have waterproof protection. For protection against rain, splashes, or moisture, the included silicone case must be properly installed and fully enclose the tracker. Do not submerge the tracker in water, even with the silicone case.

Troubleshooting

1. Connection Issues After Tab Removal

If the tracker fails to connect within 10 minutes after removing the battery insulation sheet, follow these steps:

  1. Twist open the cover, remove the battery, wait 5-8 seconds, then reinstall the battery and close the cover. A beep indicates normal pairing readiness.
  2. If still not working, try one of the following methods to fully discharge the device before reinstallation:
    • Method 1: Short the positive and negative terminals with a metal tool. Reinstall the battery after hearing the startup sound.
    • Method 2: Leave the device idle for at least 5 minutes to fully discharge. Reinstall the battery after hearing the startup sound.
    • Method 3: Briefly insert the battery in reverse polarity to short the terminals. Reinstall the battery after hearing the startup sound.
  3. After hearing the beep, ensure Bluetooth is on, open the Find My app, and select Add Other Item to complete the connection.
